Materazzi is the greatest footballer ever, a hero, one of the best defenders on earth. A TRUE LEGEND.

LOL 14 points, Palermo is the real rival for Inter, and not Milan....

I think the season is far from over. The comforting thing is that Inter is at the top of the table and not Juventus. If there is one team who can blow this it's Inter.

As for our performance...our defence was a shambles and how Seedorf is a professional footballer is beyond me sometimes. Notwithstanding his goal, his final product today was simply atrocious.

I will give a reason to Warro and other mods to give me a warning, but i will still say this :

One of the best F.ucking matches i've watched in past few years.

I apologize to Karim for hating his club and being 100% on Milan's side this night, but i have to admit that Inter is one class above the rest of Italian teams atm.
While they were playing 11 vs 11 it was damn obvious Milan is no match for Inter.
Vieira and Dacourt were simply brilliant. Owning the midfield and closing everything the 4 guys in Milan's midfield tried to do.
Nesta was again the weakest link in the defense and Jankulovski was always too short and too slow.

But after Materazzi was sent off we've seen the magic. Gilardino ( my favourite) prooved he plays football on much higher level than Pippo and Oli do. Seedorf finally woke up, and all the other Milanisti have shown us why we love football.

Deserved win for Inter and deserved 3 goals for Milan. It says it all about what kind of match this was.

At the end, i'll have to disagree with the negative comments on the refs tonight, and i'll give the refs one big 10 for what they did !

Thanx Pirlo, Gila, Stankovic, Zlatan, Vieira, Seedorf and all the others for this match

GL

you are too kind to referee, a big 10 for what they did? or you meant 10 out of 100?

Finally got some pic of the ultras.

1st one is our choreography, second is curva Nord's tribute to Faccheti. I'll post some better ones later.

What a game!! Here are my thoughts:

1) We only started playing in the second half. Inter owned the first half. We were too slow, predictable. God knows why we dont play with the proper aggression and fighting spirit when the game starts and the score is 0-0.

2) The Christmas tree is not a bad formation for us. I cannot understand why some of us are criticizing it so much. The problem, though is that we need two fast attacking midifielders to serve a lone striker. Two problems: We have only one fast AM--Kaka. Seedorf is too slow and cannot exploit any open space he gets. Second, Inzaghi cannot play as lone striker---he simply lacks the physical presence. So IMO, the formation was right, but the personnel wrong. Would've been a different game if Gorcouff and Kaka played behind Gila.

3) I am glad Silvio was watching the game. The difference in quality between the two sides was obvious. Inter strengthened their squad over the summer and we weakened ours (by not replacing Sheva)---and the difference really showed. Maicon was running up and down the right flank, whereas Cafu was only running up---didnt have enough in the tank to run down. Their central midfield partnership was rock solid---Vieira and Dacourt--both new signings. Whereas our midfield was virtually untouched from 2003---predictable, older, and lacking aggression (except Gattuso ). Their forwards, Crespo/Ibra were both new acquisitions, and both scored and played well. While Inzaghi was clearly out of depth. We improved much more when Gila and RO came on. Gila looked superb, though RO still to me looks like a replacement for Amoroso, not for Shevchenko.

3) So all in all, great game, great fighting spirit. It's good to know that we refuse to go down without a fight, but something needs to be done in the transfer window, and we need to get a good run of wins together and let Inter do their thing (i.e. collapse). Hopefully by December, the gap isnt so wide.

About the brawl of Vieira, well, it wasn't Vieira and Miha, it was Vieira Mancio http://www.channel4.com/sport/footba...ia/oct28l.html
Vieira was right to be angry, but he will calm down a few days form now I think

this was an AMAZING game! i've never been so angry and excited at the same time. milan really picked up their game second half and i just felt that we finally had the drive and that we realized we wanted it! i must commend Kaka' who ran his as$ off all game...he was everywhere- offence, defence, corner kicks...he performed his role. I was pretty disappointed in Oliviera. he is so young and talented, yet he wasn't noticeable at all. i expected him to come out with such intensity to score and run after the ball...but i didn't see that. and the ref! wow...he was aweful! he was trying to be so tough that he was calling all the little things that other refs do not even bother with. all he did was stop the flow of the game when it wasn't really necessary. although we lost i'm really happy that we were able to come together second half and score 3 goals. i hope that our players have learned something from today's game and that we'll always play with the energy and force that we did during the second half.

FORZA MILAN!

This was killing me all day, but I finally figured it out. Stankovic's beauty of a shot is almost identical to Carlo Ancelotti's strike in 89 in the semifinal of the CL against Real. The shot, the way the goalie kind of attempted a save but not really. Here's the Carlo one:
