One thing is for sure....Hernanes will not be playing for São Paulo in the rest of the year. To much talent and versatily to be playing in Brasileirão.

I don't think its worth it to bring any player from South America unless we are absolutely sure of the player doing good.

I can still hear the echoes of Gago and Higuain. Look where they are now. The risk is just way too much.

Gago was overrated but is a good player. He just isn´t the new Redondo as Boca Juniors managment made Real Madrid board to believe, and pay that amount of money.

Higuain was a prospect, and only time will tell how good he will be. IMO he will be a goo player, nothing more.

BTW, players transfers aren´t, nor never will be an accurate science. You can never have sure about the player that you will to buy, t.giann...being a south American or Italian standout of Serie A(Gilardino??), only when you put the guy under pressure you can know.

Even Sheva, golden ball of Europe is a fiasco at Chelsea...

Well the risk I am reffering to is bringing the player's family along, meddle with the non-EU restriction, language barrier, home sickness etc.

I am not saying that they are all not worth it. After all, most of the best players in the world come from South America but the risk is not worth it unless we have complete faith in a player.

i just wish that they re-invent the 3 forgein rule again and cancell the europian player rule as well . we will see good football and very useful transfer policies all across europe, this way we will have very strong competition and a strong national teams !

Well can anyone CLARIFY this to me : Milan are trying to sign this summer Thiago Neves, Carlo Eduardo, Fernandinho, Sidnei, Hernanes, Alex Silva I know we can't get them all but, if we get at least two of them how could this be goz they are a non-EU and in Serie A and Serie B are allowed to sign only 1 new non-EU player per year so... is diferent rules with brazilians or what...???!!

No, you´re right. we can only get one non-EU player...and about this brazilians, imo only Hernanes and Sidnei could become Milan players.

Hernanes is ready to play in Serie A(theoricaly). Sidnei, despite playing very well this year, still a project. He´s Pato best friend(same age), but is still young for a foreign team like Milan. But is worth to keep an eye...

From some reports, FIGC would want to allow 2 non-EU recruies per year in Italy ... I don't know if it is a good news (and a reliable one), because that means that on the one hand there would be less place for Italian players, and on the other hand, that would allow Italian clubs to be stronger ... and to finish, it would be a quite stupid decision because FIFA/UEFA is going to limit the number of non-domestic players in the teams !!

What do you think of Fernandinho? I haven't seen much of him, but I was very impressed with him when he played against us. He fouled Kaka a lot but his play was excellent, by far the best Shakhtar player against us.

Hernanes from what I've seen (again not a lot) looks very promising too.

I think Fernandinho is a good player...he was very good in brazilian youth teams, but besides Milan X Shaktar games, it´s was hard to see if he developed. It´s like Rafael Sobi´s case. A very good player, but since we have this problem with non-Eu spot, imo this place can ony be used in WC players...or if the young player is a amazing non-EU talent like Pato, Kaká...

This skinny CM is amazing. An all purpose midfield rare seen in Brazil. Can do it all...tackle, create, drible, gols(a lot for a CM). Last week I watched Boca Juniors x Cruzeiro in La Bombonera(t´s always hard to play there) for Libertadores Cup, and one more time came impressed. Cruzeiro team was horrible, but Ramires on the other hand did great(is always a great sign deliver in La Bombonera).

Ramires stamina is also amazing. This guy play all the pitch for 90 minutes, tackling in defence and scoring in the same plays...in the way of Gerrard.
This is what amazes me...despite his quality, this guy is always running and doing his job in the defence(since he´s a DMD) and the job of others in the offense...

Cruzeiro fans calls him "Ramires, the Warrior"...reminds me Keita(amazing DMD of Sevilla) but with more speed and goal. They are saying Sporting of Portugal had offered 7 MILL of Euros...if it´s true, very cheap.
