I just saw the French team for the EURO. Domenech didn't take Flamini, Mexes and Trezeguet and he prefered Lassana Diarra (instead of Flamini), Gomis (instead of Trezeguet) and hear this..... Boumsong instead of Mexes.


Someone seems to have problems with serie A players, he ?

Well, since they will be playing against Italy in the first round, maybe he is going with the element of surprise.

For real, Diarra over Flamini, Gomis over Trez and Boumsong over Mexes just does not make sense at all

Wouldnt it be ironic if Italy knock them out

only one serie a player, and that was frey, and he would have been stupid to leave him out.

I was pretty surprised at the team he chose, however he has always preferred Diara over Flamini. I remember earlier on in the season when Diarra basically played no games for Arsenal what so ever Domenech put him straight in to the team. What made me laugh was no Sagna or Clichy, who have been voted in the PL team of the season at full backs.

Abidal to me this season has been the biggest waste of space.

Still no Trez? and Anelka in the team?

i guess with that 30mil we can finally invest in a WC player.

No silly, not for free herbs...u misread his statment...he will pay me for herbs at US$30M per year...(for the Inter Curva)..who will now have a much better quality than the Milan Curva

We don't need a world class player other than Etoo. We need good players to add a cushion to the solid team we already have. We need the Park, Nani and Anderson to Man U's Scholes, Cristiano and Rooney.

Domenech is an ass...but I am happier for it...Boumsong?

Italy will surely knock France out with Boumsong in the defense...at least I hope so!

Call me naieve but I think he just said that to pull some kind smokescreen. Lesson number one never believe any of those statements. The legendary either Ronaldo, Beckham or Figo will come speech, or more recently the moratti speech that Mancini will serve out his contract etc.
What should he have said? An official statedment for Laporta that we want 2 of barca players at any costs? But we do hope you will sell them to us for peanuts? A player is worth what someone is willing to pay for him that's it.
When the new season get's started and nobody will be signed then I will get made for 2 weeks but if Paloschi, Pato en Inzaghi deliver then I will be happy if no one is signed and they fail fester should consider retirement. But again silly season hasn't even starten yet...

Galliani is not stupid. Berlusconi's ego did not die. They will buy a world class striker. When they wanted Pato, they got him (even with all the other teams circling). They wanted Kaka, and they got him. Now there is an urgent need to fill the gap left by Ronaldo and Gila. I don't believe for one second that the management won't fill this gap with a quality signing. Once that's done, we're set to start the next chapter. Stop the drama and grow up.
