well with Scolari going to Chelsea, it seems we are stuck with Carletto....
P.S: not trying to be positive nor negative, just stating a likely fact - dont wanna start a 10 page debate on ancelotti. :p

Staying again with Calro, who will again beg Berlu and Galiani for some players instead of Scolari who will have that summer a transfer budjet of 125m euros to spent on players! Galiani: We rule the transfer market! |

Another day goes by without any solid transfer news.
The good thing is that nobody is signing great players at the moment, so thats good. The bad thing is that we have nothing to discuss at the moment. |

I have a strange feeling Milan will sign two more strikers in the form of Drogba/Adebayor/Eto/Gomez/Benezma(at the rate that he is playing in Euro, he might come for cheaper than 50M) and another free signing or bargain player, like Sausao.
The reasons for that logic is, Milan will probably not sign anyone that can play the role of Seedorf or Kaka as sub, also I doubt any players with that kind of quality will accept a bench role, thus Pato will move back to play as Kaka or Seedorf due to his speed and dribbling. Therefore, MIlan will need another striker. Thats just a thought |

it would seem like Chelsea have their eyes on Kaka', Torres and Deco. It says 65M for Torres, that would mean 60M for Kaka' and Deco - they can even get Kakŕ for that money. ![]() --- as for us spending crazy money, i dont think it will happen. When milan closed their books recently, they were some €30M down... and Berlusconi recharged us with his personal money - we arent that rich of a club. Berlusca isnt even in the Top 50 richest men any more (was 25-30th some time back).. we have 15M for the gila deal as well as Oliviera (dunno how much), however... those will probably be chipped in to get Drogba/Adebayor/etc...

Not to start an argument or anything, but the fact that we will miss CL next season probably cost us like 40-60m in potential revenue. If the balance sheet is what MIlan is looking for as #1 goal, then they really should not buy anyone and just keep selling.
The point is that we won the CL two years ago and that is about an extra 60M revenue comparing to not winning. And yet, Milan still report a loss of 25M??? With a total signings of 20M in the following transfer season. To me that just does not add up. The other thing is that I believe all clubs are running in the red, even Real or Barcelona or ManU, or Arsenal. Yet, ManU spent 15M on Nani, 15M on Anderson, undisclose amount on Tevez and around 10M on Hargerves. Thats like 40M and they were only semi-finalist. What I am saying is that, running in the red is a normal thing for teams. I for one actually would rather see Milan sign 4-5 solid players to stregthen the squad instead of signing one superstars where still leave holes everywhere on the team. |

Adebayor Demands Milan Move
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Emmanuel Adebayor has told his agent to inform Arsenal that he will be joining AC Milan Milan are well known to be in the market for a top class centre forward, and a few weeks ago Coach Carlo Ancelotti announced that the club would be signing one out of Samuel Eto’o, Didier Drogba, Adebayor or Amauri. While Amauri has since joined Juventus, Milan have continued their pursuit of the other three targets, and over the past week or so there have been reports in the media that Adebayor has already agreed personal terms with the Rossoneri, and that all that is required to complete the move is for a transfer fee to be agreed with The Gunners. Arsenal are determined not to sell Adebayor, having already lost Mathieu Flamini to Milan, and with Aliaksandr Hleb set to follow him out of the exit door, possibly to Barcelona. However Adebayor has his heart set on a move to Milan, and has told his agent Stephane Courbis to demand to Arsenal that he be sold. Adebayor contract at the Emirates runs until 2010, but his demands for an increase to his Ł2m-per-year wages have been ignored. The 24-year-old impressed against Milan in the Champions League tie last season, scoring for Arsenal in the 2-0 win at San Siro. http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=733269

He is a great player. But i had said it many times that i wish for 1 or two of Eto,Villa or Benzema.I hope they change their minds. The good one is that i had a lot of time to hear about Sheva coming to us. |

Rumours today also say were linked to Crespo again. To me that isnt a really bad thing, we have lacked depth to the squad. If we sign Adebayor or Benzema and Crespo i wouldnt be too disapointed with that. Carletto knows crespo better than anyone.

As you said, Ancelotti knows him well - as Prandelli knows Gila well (which makes me think he'll be awesome this coming year).
