EU means what? Please explain. If its not possible to sign 4, then Arshavin should be # 1 target, but then again we need a keeper as well

Or should we spend £25+ on Adebayor or Etoo who are obviously younger but are they as deadly? Adebayor seems to have major critics despite scoring a hatful of goals, both are seen as wasteful in front of goal.

Then there are the unknown quantities of Gomez & Berbatov, are they worth the money? Gomez probably wouldn't be.

Why not spend the money on a genuinly world class player (who is currently better than both Seedorf or Ronaldinho) and try to get a cheaper first striker like Huntelaar or someone none of us would initially think of? We have Boriello, we have Pato & Inzaghi, with Arshavin and someone else we would be fine for the Uefa cup. Why not even get someone on loan? That wouldn't be so tragic, we could then wait until next summer to spend bigger on a major striker to (hopefully) take us far in the CL.
I still prefer we do what Bronzetti said: let Adebayor go to Barca and swoop for R10 and Eto'o . R10 would be cheeper than Arshavin and is simply a better player (provided we can bring him back to something close to what he was, which, as I said earlier, I think we can).

I simply can't understand why people label Eto'o "wasteful", it quite simply beats me. He's not a genuine target man but he has good positioning (a bit like Pippo) and can actually build up play aswell as finish it. Anyway Adebayor is truly wasteful, no argument there, but look at Luca Toni at the Euros - not exactly clinical .

Regarding Gómez I think all those of us (including myself) who've been singing his praise have received a bit of a scare with the way he's been playing at the Euros. Of course one shouldn't judge a player over by three matches (good or bad) but maybe he isn't quit ready for Milan, or perhaps it is us who aren't ready for him (i.e. taking a such risk in our situation).

Berbatov I'd stay wide clear of. Firstly because of his price tag, secondly because he's a very moody player - alternating between the magnificent and the horrendous (or anonymous) from game to game, and I think we have enough of those players and very much need someone reliable.

It means we can't sign more than one players from an non-EU country (such as Russia), unless they're already playing in Italy (I'm a bit unsure about that last part).

If we consider football as the stage of Shakespeare, then we have three 3 kinds of performers here.

1-The good ones: These figures are the good ones, no matter where they play & what they do. Best example is that of AC Milan, Kaka, Paolo Maldini, Lampard, Pel Piero, Nesta, Diego Maradona, Batistuta, Pirlo, Nedved, Valencia CF, Lyon, Bayern Munich, David Villa, Jose Mourinho, Carlo, Petr Cech etc. They are good no matter what

2-The Neutrals: These performers have both bright & dark sides, e.g. Chelsea, Luis Figo, Zidane, Buffon, Deco, Henry, FC Porto, Torres, Raul, Ronaldo9, Vieiri, Flippo Inzaghi, Inter Milan, Juventus, Casilles, Zambrotta, Rosicky etc

3-The Evil ones:
These are the ones, no matter what & where, they remain the 'EVIL FIGURES' of the football world. Prime examples are Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barce, d!da Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, Rooney, C.Ronaldo, Gerrard, Giggs, Ferdinand, Mettarazi, Patrick Vieira, Edwin Van dar Saar, van Persie, Drogba, Aderbayor, Ronaldinho, Eto'o, $hevchenko etc

Considering this fact, there is no way ACM should sign $hevchenko, Drogba, Aderbayor, Ronaldinho, & specially Eto'o. They would be a nightmare for the fans as we have cheering habbit for the heroes like Paolo Maldini, Kaka, Nesta etc not theres horror shows

Thanks

1: I often don't understand your posts or the message of your posts Mzk57 ...
2: Here I understood, but it's your personal thought about these players (and a weird way to introduce them).

@ mzk57
I dont see the hidden message in the post, I'm sorry… so dont take too much offense to what i say now :

Cech just showed us (Czech rep. - Turkey) that he isn't always good. likewise, Buffon is not at all neutral - he is in fact always great.
Valencia have proven that they are definitely not great, nor good.

those "evil" players/clubs are only evil to the rival clubs' fans.
no one really considers R10 to be "evil". Nor Edwin van der Sar!
and regarding dida (yet another other GK ) prior to his drop in form, he was by many (amongst them the "La Gazzetta dello Sport"-legend Candido Cannavò) considered lovable, a.k.a not able to be hated.
i can probably dissagree with 50% of your mentioned players in one way or another, but i mentioned those i found most incorrect.

P.S:
in any case, i dont have any intentions to offend you - so dont get me wrong !
i'm probably missing the hidden message any way, so someone please point it out

15 millions are not even enough to sign Arshavin grandad. Why would they sell for such a small amount of moneys, if other european clubs can easily double that sum ?

And, again, if we can't even afford a big first striker star, i fail to understand how we can afford that frist striker + Arshavin ! It's beyond me...

If you barely can afford a car, how can you buy a car and a flat ????
I found this article: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2...ussia.euro2008

"Arshavin, who helped Zenit win the league title and Uefa Cup last season, impressed during Russia's final group game against Sweden, scoring in the 2-0 win. Newcastle, Manchester City, Everton and Arsenal are among the clubs reported to be interested in the 27-year-old, who would cost £10m - the fixed price in his contract should he move."

Yes, Galliani has said that if we buy a top striker, our transfer campaign will end, but he is not the most trustworthy person on earth. You just can't take him seriously for every word.

The only way we could know that he won't be coming is if all of the management: Berlu, Braida, Ancelotti and Galliani say that Milan don't need him.

Boruc/Frey ---- Zapata/Mexes ---- Ronaldinho ---- Drogba/Eto'o

and we will be a great Milan again

I couldn't agree more , those are the positions we must improve on. For goalie I'd go for Boruc, since Frey probably won't move. At CB I'd take Zapata of the two you named; he'll be easier to sign and I think given time he'll be a better player than Mexes. Upfront Eto'o is my first choice, he's one of the most proven goalscorers today (alongside RVN and Ronaldo) thus he has a far better record than Drogba (who's only had one great season) and is three years younger. As far as Ronaldinho goes, I'll never stop hoping for him to join us

keeper?
Volkan Demirel, UE player. Not cheap, anyway the price is reasonable.

When Maldini signed, I though that AC Milan wouldn't have bought a CD.
(I hope I'm wrong. )

The power striker is the (sadly fragile) Zenith phenomenon n. 9, Pavel Pogrebnyak,
effective, scorer, powerful and he is really better than Roman Pavlyuchenko.
Ah, I'm forgetting that he is young.

This is the kind of striker absolutely we need .
