I think we fans need to accept the fact that this season is going to be a disaster. The fact of matter is, as somebody previously mentioned, the plans were put in place before Ancelotti and Kaka even left the team. Did they know that their plan would lead to a lot of losses? Sure they have. With their experiences, they must have known that a team low on talent can't actually win trophies, but they decided to focus on bigger and more important things, the books. So there it is, we have a lackluster transfer season again; put in place an inexperienced coach to be a possible scapegoat; and we played mind games with the fans again the whole summer long. All of this happened by design because this is exactly how the management wanted everything to play out. They didn't want to win trophies because they felt like their wallet was more important than glory. We fans might not like that philosophy, but there it is. At this point, even if we sign 10 great players in two weeks, we still wouldn't be able to get the title because the first half of the season will be used only on gelling all the new players.

Now maybe this team will do well this season. Of course, that depends on your definition of the word "well". I certainly wish so too, for the only reason that I don't want to know what this team will look like this time next year if we fail to qualify for CL again. All wishes aside, however, we all have to face the fact that this team simply isn't good enough to challenge for anything at all. Qualifying for CL could very well be the only attainable target for next season. I for one don't like it, but I have to live with it. I will just cope with this thing my way by spending more time on other things rather than watching and reading about milan.

If you ve noticed not only are we not scoring goals but we ve also been conceding too many lately. Which means we are in desperate times and i believe we cannot do without a good full back just as much as we would need a good midfielder. I would seriously prefer Silvestri coming in. He s a really talented lad. As far as the midfield issue goes, R 80 is not doing what we hoped he would do. Leonardo needs more time. But what we desperately need are a few new faces. If Berlusconi thinks otherwise, then let GOD save us, coz from what i see we would be aiming for the qualification spot for next years CL.

Don't be positive about Becks return either!!!!!!!!!

La Gazzetta dello Sport columnist Gene Gnocchi wrote today that Berlusconi is absolutely against Beck's return.

But I'm still positive.....

I am positive about the fact that Berlusconi is supposedly against the return of becks. I am sure Galliani will show him some marketing figures though, which may chnage his mind

Not that I know anything about this guy, but I dont see any correlation between new Milan signings and future Azzuri players. The team will be filled with Juve, Inter, Fiorentina, Roma and Napoli players.

This is probably just another rumor, but there are claims that we've signed Cesc Fabregas. I won't believe it until I see him with Galliani, holding a Milan shirt with his name on the back.

Strange. If Cesc wanna leave Arsenal because they sold Ade and Toure and only got Vermaelen, why the heck will he go to us who sold Kaka' and only got Huntelaar?
