Anyone recall what happened to us the last time we signed a cup-tied striker wearing jersey #99 in winter mercato? Hey, it might not be a bad idea after all

Can anyone translate what they are saying?

If you look at this like we are signing an Inzaghi replacement, things don't look bad at all

Brasilero - Can you give us some info about Lucas Piazon? What is the difference between him and Ganso? Some people say Ganso is more like Zidane and Piazon is more like Kaka, is it true?

Galliani said tonight that this winter, if there are some possibilities, they will reinforce some parts of the team, and not only the attack (which means: there will be a reinforcement for sure in attack).

I don't know if we can trust that as few days ago, he said we wouldn't buy anyone, but I'd tend to believe this quote ...

Some of the rumours are maybe really true (FB or CD + an attacking player and why not a midfielder).

Now I'm getting very, very excited. Even if we can't use them for Champions League....

I want Fabio Coentrao, maybe Jucilei, Ganso, Lazzari....and soon enough a CB

Slowly integrate these players as we let go of Seedorf, Inzaghi, Ambro, gattuso, Oddo, Janku, Zambrotta, and eventually Pirlo and Nesta....

With a strong FB who can attack, and some reinforcements in MF with different qualities than the DM we currently have, I am liking our position in Europe a lot

AC Milan 2011-2012
GK: Abbiati, Amelia, Roma
DF: Nesta, T. Silva, D. Luiz, Coentrao, Abate, Zambrotta, Antonini, Sokratis, Yepes
MF: Ganso, Pirlo, Lazzari, Ambrosini, Flamini, Boateng, Gattuso, Merkel, Strasser
A: Ibrahimovic, Pato, Robinho, Cassano, Inzaghi

Out: Ronaldinho, Seedorf, Oddo, Jankulovski, Onyewu

You know that's a long shot.

Binho's been amazing, and I have to say IMO I wouldn't exchange him for anybody.

Still not writing off Cassano. Have to say though, as a player, he reminds me an awefull lot of Ronaldinho. Right footed player, not very adept tactically, loves to start from the left, got and awesome passing teqnique, can work tight spaces and got very good vision.

It's not really a bad thing, but the only thing thats gonna make Cassano to Milan work, is if he's able to play as a trequartista behind Pato/Ibra/Robinho. Cause otherwise whats the point? Is he really gonna take the role Inzaghi had? Cause I don't think so...

Anyways, I really like Cassano, and if Allegri could gain something from this, then I'm all for it.

Problem apart from potential arrival of Ganso like, is at this moment Dinho, Cassano, Pato and Seedorf will all be benched, they won't be as useful as Flamini. Until Allegri can convert some into midfield, or play no central forward like Barca, it won't be easy. I'm not sure if Allegri can show the magic and invent a few ways how Milan play, as even Ibra-Pato-Binho have not played great together.

mihan, if anything, Allegri is the one who has been changing his formations to adapt his players, unlike Carlo and Leo who changed the players to adapt to their formations...

but u are right, no way he can play with 3 attackers now... unless ganso comes and plays as a trequartista in my opinion

HUGE point there. that is the difference. that's why the final season of ancelotti seemed stagnant, and left us unsatisfied...

but i will say Ancelotti will forever be my favourite, and i hoped for him to stay here for many many years.

honestly im quite excited just about getting cassano. a defender like david luiz and lazzari would be a dream htis winter mercato and the sale of dinho.. would be a huge upgrade to the team. looks like we face tottenham in the round of 16, i hope in the first fixture we get a comfortable 3-0 win and completely outplay them.. the thing alone that gives me so much more confidence this year is the fact that ibra always scores goals out of nowhere.. when borriello used to be our forward i was never too convinced of him scoring when it mattered, we finally have a team that everyones doing a good job playing their own role rather then our defense scoring our midfield trying to defend and our forwards being useless (of course pato was never useless love the player) ..

a comfortable 3-0 win to tottenham and a probable 1-0 loss on the 2nd leg would still be good to advance with. which is why id like milan to outplay them on the first game. if we shut down bale the hole game always have 2 men on him and watch for vdv i think were okay for the most part cus their most of tottenham going forward..

yes....i would say d.luiz is more important at this point of time than a ACM, for creative midifield, i hope allegri will slowly promote Merkel, i think we are failing to recognize that the talent is in our camp itself....give more chances to Merkel...!!! also Verdi, Gaeta, Strasser, De Vito

D.Luiz, R.Santa Cruz (loan), D.Santon (loan), A.Poli would be wnough and more for me......Cassano if he comes there will be no room to sign G.Rossi, Pastore, ganso etc...which i personally do not prefer...I still feel that we are still a long way to be a success this season.....the central defence is still a huge risk...what happens if t.silva does not recover, what if nesta suffers a sudden injury...then we are gonners.....Priority is to sign D.LUIZ if he comes for 20 mln euros...with Nesta and thiago silva he will surely mature...when nesta is there as RCB, Luiz can still play as LB, with Thiago as LCB and Abate as RB....Solid combination!!!!!!

I don't know why Inter would send a player on loan to Milan, the kind of player we need to be better by knowing we are already +13, maybe even +16 tonight (+10 virtually if Inter wins its games), and as a consequence, they would help us in the race for the Scudetto ...

Totti: "Milan has taken Cassano, it's official, I can tell you ... He signed a three year contract and Ronaldinho will go in Los Angeles."
