AC Milan - Reggina (All comments)

I wonder why there is anybody open up a new threat for the upcoming game against Reggina??

INHO, this is a very important game because the other 2 scudetto competitors will be facing each other at Delle Alpi, Juventus vs Intermilan.

The best result for us is if we beat Reggina and Juve and Inter got only 1 point each( a draw game)
If this really happen as I hope then the table would be as below :

Option 1
1. Juve : 15 + 1 = 16 (Draw)
2. Inter : 12 + 1 = 13 (Draw)
3. Milan : 10 + 3 = 13 (Win)

or maybe another possiblity would be better if :
Option 2
1. Juve : 15 + 0 = 15 (Loss)
2. Inter : 12 + 3 = 15 (Win)
3. Milan : 10 + 3 = 13 (Win)

What's your idea on the above option, which one is better as next week Inte will have to play Livorno.

Option 1 is the best, Milan - Reggina is going to be live on GOL TV for viewers in US and at 2:30 Juve - Inter LIVE.

I'd say option 2 aswell, with some sendings off and injuries in the Juve-Inter game aswell
I hope we get a heavy win and a clean sheet to increase confidence again. Hopefully Bobo can get off the mark too. I'd like to see Ambro start.

Yup, Ambro should start. He is ready to do that. In my opinion Bobo will end his goal draught

I do the same, because in my opinion it is best way to go out of this situation. They loose points and gain the maximum. That's the best. But you can never be sure... that's why football is so catching

How about Option 4: Inter and Juve both lose...

ok so thats not possible, but I like Oldman´s start to the thread, intresting way to begin a prematch thread. I like. I definately like. Option two is my choice.

I would of course, like to see Rui Costa, even if he wasnt at his best vs the Neandertals of Schalke, as well as Ambro.

I want Gilardino to start, then be subbed for Vieri, but only after Gila scores...if he doesnt score, then Vieri can continue warming the bench...IMO, Gila needs some 90 minute games in order to quickly get to his full potential. Vieri just needs to sit there, earn his money quietly, and get games if and when (GOD forbid) one of our starting strikers gets injured...and if Pippo gets fit before eeediat Vieri, then we play Pippo before that lummox of a player.

Ok, yes, I was harsh, but until Vieri justifies his huge wages, he can just continue to collect Berlu´s money, while sitting quietlyon the bench.

I do expect a victory, though this version of Milan can only seem to guarantee a lot of swearing (by yours truly) in the tv room of my little villa.

If Carlo plays Ambro and Gattuso, together, I will take a plane to Milan immediately to give him a piece of my mind...I cant see why he would though, but then again, he so very often does things that my miniscule mind cannot fathom.

We need to win, and keep winning, as we are behind in the race, and though many matches remain, we cant afford any slip ups, until we are..say..10 points ahead of the chasing pack?

Damn, you took the words out of my mouth.

well, the most important thing is that we should beat them both home and away; that way, we don't even need to care how they are doing. when sampdoria won 90-91 Scudetto, they beat Milan twice, Inter twice, Napoli twice, and one win and one draw with Juventus. The excellent head-to-head results with the other four giants (Napoli were the defending champions that year) were what gave them the Scudetto.

i'd rather inter win really, and im pretty sure they will, juve and capello have both always had a tradition of beating small teams always but losing to the big ones.. but this juve is stronger than the ones in previous years, so i dont know, so are inter as well.. i want to see inter win, because then inter will drop more points throughout the season than juve in my opinion..

everyone at milanello has been saying that we will be seeing the best milan at schalke, and that wasnt near it, now they say it'll take 2 more weeks..

the one thing im really looking forward to is... PIPPOOOOOOOO INZAGHI

its not just that... we collected 21 out of 24 possible points vs the big 4 (juve, inter, roma, lazio) in our scudetto season ... we beat roma home and away 2-1, inter home and away 1-0 and the historic 3-2, lazio 1-0 and 2-1 i think and juve 3-1 in turin and 1-1 in milan

Yeah, if things go more to plan now, the derby d'Italia result shouldn't matter, but really we need Juve to not win.

We have to forget about Juve and Inter - we need to focus on our own matches... This is once again a must win match.
I expect following lineup: Dida - Cafu, Nesta, Maldini, Serginho - Ambrosini, Pirlo, Seedorf - Kaka - Shevchenko, Vieri.

totally agreed. Forget about the Inter - Juve match. What goods can it bring if we dont do our job at the San Siro. Anyone knows any live streams to the game? Once again, ESPN in Australia shows the 'best' Serie A match this weekend ..Lecce vs Cagliari !!! something is seriously wrong with ESPN.
