Dopo i colpi di Juventus, Inter e Fiorentina che si sono aggiudicate Vieira, Pizarro e Toni, il mercato attende adesso che le grandi chiudano il cerchio. Il Milan, che lunedì ufficializzerà Gilardino, non molla la presa per il laziale Oddo, mentre la Juventus, che ha ceduto Maresca al Siviglia, deve vendere Miccoli, Tudor, Birindelli e Tacchinardi. L'Inter ha ancora in piedi col Real la trattativa per Samuel e Figo.

Pur nel segno dell'austerità proclamata da tutte le grandi squadre, la fase iniziale della campagna di mercato 2005 ha visto Milan, Inter e Juventus regalare ai propri tifosi qualche sorpresa particolarmente gradita per la prossima stagione. Ora, le prossime settimane dovrebbero portare i colpi di assestamento che definiranno completamente le rose con cui i club da fine agosto in poi affronteranno la nuova campagna.
In casa Milan il nome si cui si concentra l'attenzione di tutti è, ovviamente, quello di Alberto Gilardino. Adriano Galliani ha annunciato che sarà lunedì il giorno della risoluzione dell'affare, che con tutta probabilità sarà quella sperata dal popolo rossonero. A quel punto l'ultimo ritocco sarà l'acquisto di un esterno da utilizzare come vice Cafu, visto che il ruolo è rimasto scoperto con la partenza di Pancaro: i nomi più gettonati sono quelli di Cassetti del Lecce, Oddo della Lazio e Mesto della Reggina.
L'Inter, invece, tiene aperti i canali di trattativa con il Real per Figo e Samuel, anche se in entrambi i casi si tratta probabilmente di affari a lungo termine. La società cerca comunque un centrale difensivo e una quinta punta: per il primo problema una soluzione potrebbe essere Chivu, mentre per il secondo, persi Makinwa e Toni, si parla di Vucinic o di un ritorno in Italia di Bernardo Corradi.
Infine la Juventus, destinata a fare cassa per ripianare il bilancio, dopo aver speso ben 20 milioni per Vieira. Sul piede di partenza, dopo Maresca, ci sono Miccoli, Tudor, Birindelli, e Blasi. L'attaccante potrebbe finire alla Roma, ammesso che il Tas annulli la prima sentenza della Fifa. Blasi piace alla Fiorentina e alla Lazio, mentre Tudor è nel mirino di Messina, Genoa e Siena. Tra i possibili partenti ci sono anche Zalayeta, che potrebbe finire alla Reggina, e Camoranesi: la Juve potrebbe mettere sul mercato l'italo-argentino se riuscisse ad arrivare a Pires (che potrebbe svincolarsi a parametro zero) o a Mancini.

How many times does Galliani have to lie to us till people stop believing everything that comes out of his mouth?
He once said the transfer market was closed then the next day it was suddenly reopened and now it is closed again. He also said that our transfer campaign doesn't end with Gila - the guy contradicts his own words day after day so let's wait and see.
Plus, there is also another thread about Oddo coming to Milan. Maybe it would be a good idea to post there.

It was about 10 days or so ago. One day he was reported to have said that Milan's transfer season is over, then the very next day he said exactly the opposite - that is far from over and Gila is not the only player Milan were interested in.

What is it that people dont understand about "windows"? They can be opened and closed, its done all the time...So lets all realize that Galliani, who has his hand on the window latch, will do as he thinks necessary...

Back to Oddo topic, I heard that his salary demanding is high, which is the problem. I watched Cicinho play for a few games on TV, I think he is decent. If we can get him now or in the winter, I would say he is a worthy bet. At least we don't have to adjust the tactical formation for him, whatever Cafu plays, he should fit in with ease. Although, his defensive skills need further honing, yet he will find Milanello a super school with Professors San Paolo, San Sandro and San Billy. Heck, even his good classmate Kaka' can teach him one thing or two.

As I see it, we definately need another defender in our squad.
We have the regulars Cafu, Nesta, Stam, and Maldini. For backup we have Simic, Costacurta, and Kaladze.
I know we also have Jankulovski, but I see him more as a midfielder. Sign Oddo and use Simic and Costacurta as backup for the central defence, not the back positions.

Oddo and Gilardino - and our transfer campaign must be complete...
