The draw just ended and I havn't seen a topic about it.

The hardest match in the quarter finals I love the fact that we play first as away. Time to kick some french ass after humiliating germans, and turkies.
Lyon are good very good but we are milan. Maldini is returning when we face them I am certain. so our defence will kick ass again. Sheva,Pippo, And Kaka are at top form.

The full draw is in the poll thread, but i might aswell post it here aswell.

Quarter Finals:

Arsenal v Juventus

Lyon v Milan

Inter/Ajax v Villareal

Benfica v Barcelona

Semi Finals

Lyon/Milan v Benfica/Barcelona

Arsenal/Juventus v Inter/Ajax/Villareal

...and when we have beaten Lyon in the quarter finals we will face either Benfica or Barcelona in the semifinals.

Which means there are good chances for an all italian Champions League final with Milan playing either Inter or Juventus.

Of all the three recent seasons we have been playing the C.L well, this is the toughest draw yet in the latter stages of the competition. forget PSV's tough stand last season, Lyon is a tough well gelled team. Winning a Le Championnat 4 times in a row, is not an easy feat, regardless of how you think the French League is a below par league.
Lyon is a very good team and they will take us to the wire.However, I believe we will beat them, and our experience will be the difference.

Lyon will be tough to get past, we have to be watchful of Carew who has had a new lease of life there. Plus we all know about Revelliere, Cris, Cacapa, Juninho, Diarra, even Tiago and Malouda to an extent. We shouldn't be assuming of an automatic route through, although if we play to our strengths and play as well as we did in the home leg against Bayern we'll be in a strong position to progress.

Plus it'll give us a good chance to talk shop about their players, Juninho, Diarra and Revelliere

Worthless draw for us. Having the two teams I would rate as the thoughest after each other. I would have love meeting Arsenal or Juve, those are teams we would beat. Now instead we got a French team, which was seems to have problems with and Barcelona which not only is great, they seems to have matured.

IMO, if we get past these matches the final will be the easy game.

Juve in comparison got tailormade teams for them. Inter with the loser attitude and Arsenal that never ever reached a semi-final. Damn!

Tough draw!!!!

I hoped that we would face Barca first then Lyon, because we are in great shape, and i just hope that does not wear away soon..

Ive been searching everywhere looking for who will play home at the first leg.. im not too sure its Lyon.. it doesnt mention anything anywhere.. if anyone knows, let them please tell us, but it is a good thing that we play the 2nd leg at home..

The draw says Lyon vs Milan, so maybe it means the first leg will be at Lyon, and 2nd at Milan? Im not sure. But a big blow is that the semi-final will be at Milan in the first leg and second leg at Barca, that my friends will be very very crucial.

Very tough draw indeed and we know that Milan underestimates the little teams like Lyon, PSV we always have problems with these teams that's why i think this is a very tough draw.
Last year PSV could've beaten us and Lyon is a better team thean the PSV's of last year and i'm not being pessimistic but Lyon is a very tricky side.

If we win we'll play Barca i liked a Milan-Barca final but i would be satisfied with Inter to payback them for the loss this season

Bayern is my 3rd favorite team and Lyon is 4th. I wanted some one like Arsenal or Barca at this stage. Really disappointed again.
Ok now we have lyon. I think we shall win eaisly, because Sheva & Kaka are unstopable at the moment. Plus no Juninho so things are good.
I also want to say to u guys that calm down, Even if we face Barca in the semies, nothing to worry, we shall beat them eaisly 3-0

Yup i agree..Even in group 16 they were lucky.Even win lucky.Now we have to face top 2 team of Lyon n barca....

I dont think that we are luckier than juve...cause i really doubt that juve will win against Arsenal on the first place...Arsenal is a difficult team and they play very fast football...in comparison to english football, Italian is very slow. So "good luck" to Juve..I dont think they gonna make it to the next round...
And we will be in the next round...
