Parma vs Milan

Most of you seem to have forgotten that we have a game with Parma this week, but I don't blame you. Arsenal's game is approaching fast (6 days left) and the tragedy that has happened with Ronaldo.

We will be playing at Stadio Tardini (Gila's home) and it would be nice to get a good result before the Arsenal game seeing as we failed to get the 4th spot against Livorno. Also Serie A will be experimenting some new things for this weeks 'Super Saturday'. We will be having 3 games on 3 different times for the first time in Serie A. Inter-Livorno will be the 10:00 (EST) game, Parma-Milan the 12:00 (EST) and Juve-Roma the 2:30 EST game. A good idea in trying to improve TV income for the Serie A sides.

For this game it seems like we will be missing Seedorf and Pato. Seedorf said he still had a niggling injury and isn't fully ready but he also said that Kaka will be at the Parma game. When Pato got injured they said he should be back for the Arsenal game and maybe even the Parma game, but since then we haven't heard anything about him. I hope he gets minutes in the Parma game because he'll need it if he is to play against Arsenal.

Pirlo has been in phenomenal form recently, I hope he does not play the entire 90 minutes as we will need him at his best at the Emirates. Nesta has had a week off and should return for this game, and probably Maldini will sit this one out so he can play vs Arsenal. Serginho should play here because he will not play vs Arsenal. Up front I say we start with Gila - Palo again. I want us to use the 2-striker formation and we also need to give Ambrosini a rest, he also has been in tremendous form and has played every minute of every game.

If Pato is healthy he should be given the nod..Oddo should rest this one so he plays good at Arsenal.. Janku should be trying to get back to match fitness..Emerson, I dunno why he wasn't even in the squad for the Livorno game, but I hope he will be in for this one. Seedorf should maybe come in for Pirlo sometime in the second half.

Why not Cafu instead of Bonera? We need some sort of attacking presence on the wings to beat those closed up teams. I pretty much agree with everything else...with my natural bias to play Gourcuff over Emerson of course and not to rush Pato & Kaka if they aren't 100000% ready.

I like to see Pirlo sit out this game, the guy needs some rest.
Maybe Kalac, Cafu/Bonera, Kaladze, Nesta/Bonera, Janku, Emerson, Seedorf/Gourcuff, Rino/Brocchi,Kaka, Gila, Paloschi.

I'd like to see Cafu play in right fullback and Gattuso in the right centre of midfield to cover Cafu. Emerson can take Pirlo's position to let Pirlo play in left MC. Gourcuff probably will play with Kaka stay on the bench.

I don't think we should rush Pato to play in this match. I hope Gila can play well to attract the intention of his future club :p

Milan without Pirlo means that the Midfield would be running like a headless chicken

Janku wont be risked in this match as he needs to be fully fit for the Arsenal match.
Nesta would be given another 5 days to rest, besides, Bonera is in a good form too

Pato wont play this match, i even doubt he's gonna be called up :|

After all that has happened...the clear, unmitigated criminal actions of the ref and linesmen vs Livorno, plus, the injury to R99.....its really hard to get up for this game...I am becoming so disillusioned with the standard of officiating in the Serie A, we cant get a clear penalty in our home stadium, but Inter can play away and get a completely offside goal?

Its almost beyond belief...I saw it going for Juve, and now, I see it going for Inter...yet we get a points deduction? Criminal.

Parma are not to be dismissed, as they tend to raise their game for the big teams...with one eye on the match vs Arsenal, I see us getting only a draw for this...unless Parma are foolish enough to attack us and open up the game.

I hope Gourcuff gets to play the entire game again, and hopes he has more of an impact than he did last game.

I dont think the Milan game is live. FSC has a chelsea game at noon EST, then Juve - Roma at 2:30 EST, then Parma - Milan at 4:30 EST

Nice to see Oddo, Pirlo given a rest! But I'd rather Gila played this one.. afterall its going to be at the Tardini..if he couldn't score here then he never will be able to

you see, they put Kaladze as a RB, which prove they dont know wtf they're talking about

Also...Gattuso Emerson Ambro Serginho midfield wtf ? against PARMA ? Gazzetta must be crazy. I'm almost certain we'll play with two strikers tomorrow with Pippo playing as little a part in the game as possible. After what Carlo said about maybe playing that horrible 4-4-2 formation from the Siena game, this game might turn out to be a boring 1-0 or 0-0 game. I hope Gourcuff gets another chance to prove whether or not he should be playing more.

It is difficult to predict a formation, we must rest some key players but need a good result, too.
