Brigate and Commandos had offered to deal with the Gobbi fans accordingly.
Their is reason to believe that this still may well happen.
I wouldn't be surprised if the old Fossa fouders, together with a bunch of younger members will bring back to life FDL.
All in all, Curva Sud is well well alive, trust me.

if so keep it rockin and never stop, i was very dissapointed to see so few fans in he CL final!

i wrote it somewhere in the past: the relationships between Fdl and Brigate didn't seem so good already in the past, so it doesn't surprise me; i mean, they had a go eachother with microphones, taking the piss eachother still in the past. For ex. Brigate micro leader who asked Fossa to stop a song which was too cheesy ( i don't know how to say it)

maybe it has been just the last episode and the most serious of a list. I think Brigate in the last years has been the leading force of the Curva. It's sad though, anyway.

10.000 Curva guys including myself were in Istanbul. if anything Curva Sud was there.

i dont think u should defend them... im proud of those who made itthere but we were so few compared to the liverpool fans, 10.000 is not close to enough! we have the bestfans in europe and i was very sad to see us outnumbered so easily, one thing that drove them back to win the game was the fans support, after the 1st goal they were constantly supported!

It seems to me that Italian Football is now getting strict on crowd violence etc. And it also seems that the FDL are giving a bad name to the other Milan supporters.

Not properly..ask Billy Montreal who was with me at Milan -Juve in May..a Brigate thug punched a guy just because the people queueing up pressed this guy from behind. That's the reason, with other episodes of the same quality, why i quit the Curva. It's enjoyable for a short period, but sooner or later you will be involved into something similar or even more serious.

Maybe this will come as a shocker for many , but the reality is that among our fans there are just as much thugs as among the others. I have seen people beating up guys and girls without any problem, regardless of who was involved. Many on this board can confirm it, Franco and Billy for ex.

Edit:i want to add that i'm not the kind of person who gets impressed too easily, i've seen the bad quarters of Napoli, Amsterdam, bad people in Paris at the Trocadero and in many other parts of Europe; the thing is: going there for a couple of games is enjoyable and nobody will disturb your stay, but if you go there on regular basis, and try to form a group as we did, you must stay at their strict rules. This can be understandable, but for ex. imagine you've queued up at the opening of the gates5 hours before the match kick off, and that 5 minutes (it happens every game) before the match the Curva chieves come and claim their places near the balcony, so you have to leave the place you've reached after hours of waiting and cold, because you are pressed by the rows of people going upstairs and leaving the first rows for the curva chieves. Some of these guys have no respect, or have respect in their own way.
So basically, being me a bit hot headed and predicting that sooner or later i would have got in troubles with one of these guys (which means you get in trouble with all the others as well) i decided to quit. Because if i get punched by one of these i know that i would get into a fight of massive proportions, just like it happened during Milan- Manchester when the Curva chieves of Vecchia Guardia were looking for me and a friend of mine (10/15 persons) in order to beat us!!!

There's many people who stands many little or big abuses, you know, you're there and there're just their rules. I can't. It's a matter of character, and matter that practising martial arts since i'm teenager i can react. But is that worthy? i mean, getting into fights with thugs and being faced by 10 persons outside the stadium? i think it's not.

So Basically some fans in the Ultras think their **** doesn't smell and that they think they own the place.

Gio, do you participate martial arts?

I've done agonistical Wushu and currently practising Viet Vo Dao. You can bet i would hammer down one or two of the Curva Sud chieftains but the problem is that i would have to face 10/15 after a couple of minutes, and believe me, you can be the toughest guy around (not my case, i'm not that big, more a quick b*stard ) but in that scenario you would get into the hospital anyway. Plus, why bother? Better change section inside the stadium.
Now i haven't renewed for study/cash reasons, but if i get the chance to make a new season ticket it won't be in Curva for sure.

For many reasons many of the Ultras have disappointed me: many of them think just about sniffing anfetamine and coke during the break and find joyful mates in this activity, plus feeling realised in commanding the crowd (mainly composed by teenagers and normal people)

There is still some lovely people in Curva Sud, Diavolo can confirm it, but not all the Ultras are getle like Il Barone is, not all the guys, esp the youngest and the most hotheaded, respect people like il Barone does.

Naaah, mate... I did not mean that. It's yer choice to quit Leoni or not, I really do not care about that, it's all up to you. But I am very interested that you are not indifferent to martial arts. Cuz I am too. I should say my whole life is based on it. My personality was prfoundly effected by martial arts. So I always be interested in these guys who feel the same. Cheers mate. I can't really give an accurate comment on the behavior of the ultras since I've only been to the Curva Sud once for the recent game against Udinese.

From my personal experience, it was excellent since Diavolo, Il Barone and some of the Curva guys made me felt like I was at home. Of course, you could say the Curva was in a celebratory mood the whole afternoon due to the fact that we've scored 5 goals that day.

It was some experience I'll never forget and I'll definitely return to the Curva again someday

i don't want to influence anyone with my personal view, maybe i've been unlycky and what was an awesome experience ended badly.
But my personal view is proved by 2 seasons of matches on regular basis. Nothing compared to the life long attendance of Diavolo, for ex., but still enough to get a detailed idea of the whole Curva crowd.

More: Laudrup came for the derby, Billy Montreal for Milan- Juve last year and both witnessed episode of thuggish behaviour for ridiculous reasons. Franco's friends were with me during Milan-Manchester.

I've been enthusiastic of the curva but i must admit that it's not all as rosey as many would think.
