Great news. For a player in his age, it's better if he gets to play more often. He's been good in serie B, but now he must prove himself in the higher level. Good luck, Palo, take your time and prove your worth

It would be better to leave him out on loan for another year so he can gain experience. Milan has enough forwards to get by, even if a deal can't be struck for Fabiano (and Leonardo is still very confident regarding Fabiano). It's more important to develop Paloschi for the future than to make him a short-term fix mostly as a substitute.

The goal he scored today against Russia. It is not a spectacular goal but it shows that he has Pippoesque positioning.

We have Alberto Paloschi (number 9) huggin with Davide Di Gennaro (number 10) both our players, shining with Italy under 21... if we just had kept Gourcuff!!!!

^^ I heard Di Gennaro didn't do too well but I generally don't trust reports. I'll see if I can get a full match download and determine for myself. They apparently played him in front of the defense as a playmaker.

I don't know how DdG played in the U21 NT, but somehow he did NOT impress me at all during those pre-season games. I wish that he could improve SOON to show that he is Milan material, considering that we are keeping him anyway for at least this season.

What Paloschi impresses me the most is probably his psychological strength. He is like another Pippo who simply wont' give up, will fight for each chance, and won't hesitate to yell at own teammates for slacking off.

I actually think they wanted Fabiano as he would be 30 in 2 years with this kid ready to take over. Huntelaar kind of complicates the situation, especially if they both come good.

Just look at the way he celebrates with the fans or the way he acts with his team mates. He looks like he has the same self belief as Pippo.

Lets hop we give him time to grow and we enjoy the fruits of our patience in a year or two.
