That's funny thing for me that the team get relax even they know that making a goal with Milan right now is a very though job. This is a very bad attitude and we can't tolerate this.

Why won't Milan just win the scudetto, instead of hurting me? We've not been this close to being champions since Matchday 38 in 05/06, yet instead of +4 we're at -3! The sad part is that team doesn't look like its going to go on winning streak and finish the season on high. When did things become this bad?
P. S.
I shouldn't have made this post, but i can't help it!

Firstly, if you don't keep the "regarding the players used" of the start of my posts, of course, it can be sad for a club like Milan to have played like we did. But, again, and I write it again: regarding the players used tonight, the team played well. Tell me, how do you rate this game compared to the Italian Cup game(-s, we often play only one Italian Cup game per year, except this season) ? It's almost the same players used, but compare the level of the team ...

And I said Abate, not Antonini, because Abate didn't technically miss a chance, he did the wrong choice, he tried to shoot when he shouldn't have (Zigoni was just there waiting to shoot this ball). Dias just did a technical mistake.

Revolver, Ronaldinho and Pirlo have got their week and a half rest, they're 30, not 38, they MUST be able to play 40-45 games a season and will be able to do it. While Ronaldinho struggled in the last few games, probably because other coachs are not that stupid to always let Ronaldinho do what he wants, Pirlo didn't show any sign of bad form recently, except if you count the red card as a sign of bad form coming (which can be accepted, it will depend on his next performances).

Nalx, you say it's the second game in a row we lose vital points and so, the third time should arrive. If you read the forum, many people think it's our 3rd game in a row we lose vital points. That means this bad serie is over ... :p

And as long as it will be mathematically possible to be champions, I will believe in it and nobody will manage to change my point of view about that. So, for now, we're at -3 from Inter and -2 from Roma, if we end with the same amount of points as Roma, we're on top of them in the table, and it's the contrary with Inter.
So if before the last game, we're at -2 from Inter, or -2 from Roma (not both at the same time, because if the three teams end with the same amount of points, it's a Scudetto for Inter), I will believe in this Scudetto.

Technical or not, a mistake is a mistake. We made ours, they made theirs. That's why I said the if this-if that sounded like a cop-out.

The Italian Cup was never high in our priority Geo. That's why since Berlu took over we've only won it once. So it's no use comparing even if most of the players used are the same.

Then again, this isn't Coppa, it's serie A's final and decisive weeks. And regardless the players used, like I wrote, with a chance of narrowing down the gap, they had all the reasons in the world to pour their blood into this game. The spirit itself should've minimized the disadvantage of not having our creative players, yet I only saw few players having this diehard attitude.

And about the 3rd time works the charm, yeah let's hope it end tonight. I won't give up until it's mathematically impossible to win the scudetto.

Forza Milan!

I agree.

I think that could be a good experience for Antonini, Abate, Silva, Flamini,...

The thing I like was the aggressive Leo, he did not sit still and touch his lips with his index finger but stand near the line to shout players. He looked more like a coach to me

I blame the line-up because the players who can't provide something special: Dida, Zam, Seedorf, Pippo are too old to rely on. Others are worker type, hard work, but only hard word is not enough.

Silva is different, but he is a CB. I think we should convert him to a midfielder to use his abilities better. But the most wonderful thing is Silva playing as a Libero, Baresi is the best teacher for him, and I think Leo is trying this, too. He was more active in recent matches.

However, we need Dinho, Pirlo, Pato badly, and of course, Nesta.

Inter has handed us the title on several ocations this season, we just refuse to take.
We deserve this kind of luck and no title.

I don't agree that the players lacked spirit tonight, on the contrary though. It seemed that everyone really wanted this win, and I think it was obvious that the only way we could get three points was if we wanted it more or just got lucky.

That said, the team has become really predictable lately. I think most people didn't honostly expect 3 points from this game, given the players we were missing. At most I, at least, was hoping for a 1 goal win or something like that, like the Chievo game. Pato, Ronaldinho, Nesta and Pirlo are our most important players, and if Moratti himself could've chosen four players that we'd miss he couldn't have chosen anyone more important.

Anyways the Scudetto looks tough, but I agree with Geo, nothing is lost yet. When this team gets at full strength it can beat anyone in the world.

Seriously guys what do you expect??

This team in its full strength its not good enough!! let`s take out Nesta,Dinho,Pato,Pirlo,Abbiati,(best players so far) on top of that Bonera,Huntelar (reliable substitutes).

Cmon guys lets get real..this was a well fought draw. Yes we drew,we lost ground to Roma, but how can we fail to acknowledge the effort of T.Silva, Abate,Antonini,Flamini,Ambrosini,Pippo.

No reason to be pist off, I told you we wont win this one.
The squad wasn't good enough, period. Even if we managed to bury one of those chances in the second half, it would have been unfair on Lazio.

Tip for keeping your mental health: don't think that Milan will win the Scudetto, think we will end up third. And then if we do somehow manage to win the title - it will be a nice little bonus.

So as it looks right now, its another year without scudetto 7 years in a row, in the worst serie a season in last 20 years or so ( its still possible, its only 3 points, but scudetto is won by playing great5 in spring, which this squad has so far failed to do), with a historycal humiliation in the CL for a club like Milan, with terrible job by MilanLab, with horrible roster ( that has to let go of 10 players that have practically no price on the market and have absurde wages )that is devastated by 5 years of not thinking about it and selling what is worth.

If this is the truth, then we have a FAILED season, again. No "new circle" has begun, team is old, too expencive and not easy to rebuilt. I know people will somehow find a way to defend Galliani and co., but to me this seams like a bad way of leading a club. Only results count in the hirtory of football, not that Beckham was here and they all had great time in Milanello.

And of course:

(Corriere dello Sport)

Becuse players you keep in your squad are Kaladze, MArek, Favalli, Oddo, super Abate who has no brain, Gattuso who cant play anymore, Seedorf campione, Borrigol, Pippo who is 200, Mancini (??) and Onyewu who is so good he will be sold as will Adiyiah. Grande Galliani.

The lack of depth is what is the crucial difference between us and Inter, and possibly Roma.

We have a bunch of older players who just don't have it in their legs anymore, a young coach, and injuries to key players....I don't see how we can overtake Inter + Roma....and I am truly in awe of the optimists on the forum, and truly (no sarcasm here at all) salute you for keeping a positive attitude about our chances of actually winning the title.

This is the "nearly season".....based on a "nearly good" summer transfer session, that "nearly" saw us make some good signings.

We will continue to drop points IMO, and maybe end up fighting off Palermo for the 4th spot. Its been that type of year.

Forza Milan. (Regardless)

No matter what, I was so happy to see Silva and Antonini with great energy level. Specially Antonini really surprised me big times. I am at least satisfied now that we need only 1 world class fullback now, because Antonini has done enough to suggest that he can be the regular fullback for ACM for the next few years. Last night I got the impression as if Philip Lahm was playing for us. Great work and passion Luca Antonini and Silva

No offense, but I haven't seen a single post of yours this season with the slightest hint of optimism and encouragement for the effort that our players have given this season. I agree that the squad is simply not good enough (with this crappy coach), but come on man there should be at least 1% of optimism. You were predicting a bottom half finish (or even relegation stuff etc) at the beginning if I am not mistaken. Our season is not much different from the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid. Yes we were humiliated by Inter and Man Utd (which were purely down to the ignorance of our coach), but at the same time we defeated Juventus and Real Madrid in away matches for the first time in don't know how many years

3-4 signings, Leonardo and Borrielo out and this team will be a world beater again

There's nothing to be optimistic about. Arsenal have thier youth, Barca have ......... well, barca have everything. Even inter have an outrageously deep and efficient team. We on the other hand have nothing. No youth, No sexy football, No outrageous talent (Pato, if he can stay fit, maybe), NOTHING. just Dida and the other old folk!! So please let Warro be.
