I've heard that Milan has contacted Porto regarding their midfielder Maniche. Has anyone else heard something about this?

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has posted a scout to track Porto midfielder Maniche leading up to the winter market.
Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti wants to strengthen his midfield in January and Portugal international Maniche tops his shopping list.
Galliani has already sent a high-level scout to Portugal to follow Maniche and will soon have intermediaries sound out the player about the prospect of a move to the San Siro.

maniche is great but i prefer mascherano.....he is a great combination between redondo and cambiasso

I agree that Coloccini should get a chance. It is a bit sad that Costacurta (who can do the job) allways gets to sub ahead of Coloccini who both need the encouragement and the chance to play next to Maldini or Nesta to learn.

hoping ancelotti see the potential of Collocini,i think even costacurta realize that his time is running out...so we should push collocini first...our back line need somebody fresh coz once again the way we play really give the back line a very big pressure if the midfield lost their mind ( lately seedorf do that )

I agree, but the point is not that he is useless, but rather that to be able to build on the future, we need to let Coloccini get to play a couple of games now that Stam is out.
