I think he is. Watched eight or nine games he played last season and he has all the tools to be a star in a very near future. In one specific game, againt Lyon, last year, he really exceled and showed an outstanding talent to control the midfield and change the pace of the game.
He has only 20 y.o. and a lot to develop. If you remember how Pirlo developed under Ancelotti... This can be a scary situation.
The only worry I have is about his velocity. Think he is not fast enough to Serie A and will have to play near the box. With him, Kaká will have some pressure (markers) off.

Our midfiled has always supported slower players though. Seedorf would struggle to win a race at the special olympics with his speed, Pirlo is no speed demon either.

Maybe Gourcruff could be an option to replace Pirlo sometimes, I mean he played badly quite a lot last year so it wouldn't be that much of a disadvantage putting in a younger player. Depends on his stature, is he a big guy? If he is he could be a possible there, makes a few tackles.

Gourcuff is tall, and heavy, OK for his complexion...that doesn't mean he's slow...

Ok, so what does that mean? White men cant run? LOL!!! (Not to come across as racist or anything...but what does his complexion have to do with his speed?)

This is the best one since Paolo Inzaghi put on the famous Milan jersey!

Warro, white men CAN run... what they CAN NOT do is jump (and dance)...

Zidane can't run, but he doesn't need to run when he's thinking two plays ahead everybody else... Gourcuff is still much more dynamic than Zidane, and not just because of his age...

Just pulling your leg there SANT...thought your post was too funny to just let slip without some witty comment from yours truly.

So, based on your assessment of what white men can and cannot do, does that make John Travolta black, the product of camera tricks, or both? (or quite possibly, the exception that proves the rule?)

Dont get upset, just try to see the humor as I see it...but to underscore your point, Riquelme certainly isnt greased lightning (sorry to bring Travolta back into the frame again..but tell me, did he pilot the plane back to Syndey with the Aussie team?), but because he thinks so quickly, defenders even fleeter of foot than he is, still cant close him out of a game...so I do understand what u r saying....

I know, I never even considered the possibility of you making an agressive comment...

I don't think Esajas can run either (too fat ), but he has a buddy (wait, can Seedorf run? I suppose he can and can run fast as I did remotely recall him doing that. He probably just doesn't want to do that, ). To get in Milan that is probably the most important qualification.

To work with two playmakers with long-shot skill is not bad, Berlusconi knows football. So as bringing in Maniche. Defenders would be in the dilemma that either tie their shoe lace with Gila or be the patriots to block the rockets from out of the box.

I hear this kid has alot of potential. Although alot of people get dubbed and labbeled with names like the "New Zidane", i hear he could actually fill into his boots. Does he really have this potential?

we will have to wait and see... after all, Zidane was good prospect when he was acquired by Juventus, and then he became what he was until a few days ago...

not true sant, zidane had his best time after juve IMO, but going into his 3rd season with real he started losing his form due to his age and real's poor performances, when the team cant play good its hard for 1 player to keep his top form

Zidane was in Juve from 95 to 2000, right? and his peak was 1998-2001 or so...

He moved to Juventus in 96. We were beaten by him in 1995-96 UEFA Cup, well, by Duggary and him. Where was our luck? Losing a 2-0 advantage from the first leg and getting Duggary instead of the master.

And he joined Real Madrid in 2001, then there was this spectacular goal against poor Bayer in the CL final.

I personally agree that his golden years were with Juventus.
