Recently my attitudes toward Gourcuff change. I think that the fact that he found his new friend (i.e., Gilardino) will help lol.

Ok kidding aside, I think Gourcuff is developing into a quality player; these games when he came in, he actually looked more threatening than before (though it's still the last 8 - 10 minutes).

I feel like he is the kind of player who will boom later (around 25 - 30 years), but I suggest to keep him (if he would like to stay) or at most loan him. He'll be of great asset in the future.

Yeah, I agree. We shouldn't sell him. He is a big talent but not yet a decesive player. He needs time and games and also must develop to be a quality player. The chances are really few for him now especially if Emerson can mantain his performance or even get better.

But what I haven't seen from him is that he haven't scored after got into the match in the 60. or 80 minute (He has made goal(s) but it's already long time a go). In many occasions he almost scored but I dont know, it seems there is still 'obstacle' in front of him to make a goal. If he could score after get into the field (especially in a situation where Milan really need a goal), Ancelotti could change his mind and play him much more than now.

I know he has made some assists but in my onpinion goal(s) is much more important for someone to count.

Gourcuff developed phisically, a lot! And I would really like to see him play 3 games in a row as a central midfielder alongside Pirlo-Rino and Kaka', then we can see the impact. But since Milan has no time for that, no Yoan untill next year in that way...

I watched the game today and i expected more from Gourcuff.

Im not really blaming him though cos the kid never plays. He seems to have little confidence. Milan should really look at sending him on loan next season to a smaller serie a club, like empoli, parma, siena. That way he can play with consistency and we can see if he is as good as we think he is.

OR we could play him more so he builds up confidence. I think he is a good player but he never gets to show it.

He wasn't bad today but he wasn't outstanding either. I didn't expect much as it was his first game in forever but at times you could see he was trying too hard to impress. Also there were times when he was open and his teammates overlooked him. Positions which would have left him clear on goal. Nice cross to Pippo for the header and also nice left footer that went just over the bar as well.
If he had some continuity then he could work more calmly, but he probably feels like he needs to score 2 goals and get 2 assists to get some playing time because no matter how badly other people play, he doesn't get a look.

thats the problem...carlo never plays him...if he played him he would have more confidence and more comftroble playing alongside pirlo kaka ambro...that is a problem he has to feel comftroble if carlo were to develop imo he could have an amazing i mean amazing partnership with kaka..but its rare that we see him and kaka play together..on the mental side he is a proven leader he was the captain for u-21...if carlo were to play him alongside pirlo kaka or seedorf he would learn so much because of their expierince and they would compliment each other really good ...and in todays game gorcuff played well much better than brocchi the only reason he stands out is cuz we are not used to seeing our mids (other than kaka) even try to score...seedorf used to be that way but now he just trys to create so when we see gorcuff taking these shots and running with the ball and be ambitous we all start saying ..o he sux ..carlo is right no to play him....but this infact is a good thing look at fabregas..with gorcuff the Mf becomes very attack minded..because with seedorf creating and kaka running its not as much with kaka and gorcuff running i just hope to see him stay with us and develop

We all know that Gourcuff is a promising Youngster. Talent, he has it. Many of us were expecting good performances when he came.
But he is still young, lack of experience. His talent needs to be developed in order to make him an excellent midfielder.
And now, there is an issue that Gourcuff will GO. Moreover, some of us blame him. You know, he is still young. Don't expect too much on him. How can Gourcuff perform well, If he isn't given chance?
Development always needs time...

I want to see him play for us, I think it's clear he's got talent. But I don't think Carlo trusts him, if Carlo had his trust then he would play more. At least, that's what I think.

While Kaka is out (hopefully not for too much longer), I hope we can see more of him and we'll see more of what he can offer to us.

Well said It's time people stood up and took notice of Gourcuff..........he has EVERYTHING: pace, strenght, free kicks a good eye for goal- things that we haven't as yet seen from CR7. While Yoann is setting SerieA alight leading Milan to our scudetto Manchester is in serious danger of missing out on Europe. Ten more games for gourcuff, and in a rather video-game like fashion, his skill level will approach 100 which will enable him to shoot from the centre circle and score with alarming regularity

Infact, I'd like to take Mr mzk57's comments a bit further and say that CR7 isn't even at the level of our own world class wing wizard Mr Ibrahim Ba, who also has eclipsed his countryman (Zidane) in terms of both abilities and accomplishments. For proof please click here. Ask yourselves...could Zidane even at his best have scored such a world class goal? I think we all know the answer to that

Let's let Gourcuff come back in France for 1-2 year(s) in a small club, then in Lyon as he will be back to a good level (and Lyon takes each year the best players from other French clubs, it's why they have no opponent) ... let's let him play 2 years there, and let's take him back to Milan if he did well !! lol

What about the clash between C Ronaldo and Esajas? A typical caso of "too close to call".

His potential should be maximized. He's too young and I don't understand why everybody expects so much from him. It could be destructive for his career and I'm afraid that this thing could happen to Pato...
