We have certainly made an effort to bring in more players than have gone out. We've added quality and also youth. Overall it's going very well, and despite our criticism I am very happy with Galliani and Berlusconi. We obviously need a Midfielder to replace the Senatori (specifically Ambro, Seedorf, Gattuso), but we do have Prince, Flamini, Pirlo, Strasser, and Merkel. Perhaps Lazzari is all that's needed. Also, an Attacking Central Midfielder, and a Left Back. Lastly, a player like Davide Astori could be good for CB, although I don't know if a pairing of he and T. Silva can be one for the next 5 years.

Anyone hear anything about Adiyiah's progress? Also thoughts on Astori? I really have a feeling we'll make a move for a Left Back this mercato or next. We can't possibly go on with Antonini for next few seasons. I'm curious to see how that goes, although Allegri seems to be saying Midfielder Midfielder Midfielder. We'll see...

I think that midfielder (technical one like Allegri said) should be our priority since we really need a creative midfielder. Without Pirlo we suffered a lot like game vs Roma and Cagliari. We have won a couple of games when Pirlo was injured (before his injury in December in vs Roma's game) but it needed a very organised and tactical play from us.

So, I agree with Allegri that a technical/creative midfielder is a must in winter mercato. Such type of midfielder gives us more benefit than a proper fullback.

Do you guys think that Milan have Moggi as a consultant? Most of transfer moves this season were extraordinary.

Or just Allegri & Galliani are already very good themselves?

we were sleeping when inter signed Ranocchia, while we signed Papa for the same amount of money. Amelia is okay as vice GK. We lost Hernanes to Lazio, Krasic to juve. Hernanes was the man for our midfield. We still dont have a solid reserve Cb to silva and Nesta, after signed Yepes and Papa in one summer.

Good mercato yet not extraordinary.

True, but considering Papa cost 5mil and he is pretty much useless among Yepes, Gouch, and Bonera. That's 5mil wasted. The cb that I think Milan should sign is Santacroce, as he is not being use at all and he should be under 8 mil. He is probably a cheaper option than D. Luiz. Mexes to me is the French version of Bonera.

Of all the plYers that Milan missed in the summer, I think Hernanes is probably the only one that Milan was seriously looking at, but they just dropped him as they thought Slowdorf and Pirlo can do it for a few more years.

PAPA will get playing time, after Bonera's performance against Udinese, he will not play again, unless 1. he is having an affair with allegri, 2. Allegri is an utter uber idiot 3. Only 11 guys are healthy.

even so i would rather go to the primvera for a defender before playin bonera again. i expect a game rating of 1 or less for bonera

we need no more attacking options, unless it is a old guy who can score but doesnt expect to play alot, like what inzaghi was.

But suppose you are him. Your only fault is that you can't put on a decent performance. It's not like you decide the starting 11.

My point is, if a coach thinks you deserve to be in the team more than Yepes and Papa and game after game you do nothing to prove him right, then it's not your fault anymore. You can't say "coach, i ain't no good".

Yeah, it was mainly Allegri's fault to still believe in Bonera and play Seedorf in crucial position to be countered, deep-holding/playing position. Bonera shouldn't played as CB (I agree with someone about Bonera as second sub for right fullback) and Seedorf should just play upfront AND as sub, not starting eleven.
