Jay, this thread is where people can talk about players we've been linked to and suggest alternatives we'd like to see the club go for. Just because people talk about these players, it does not mean they believe hand on heart the club will get them nor does it necessarily mean they understand reality any less.

Yes your right I understand that , but there is also a fantasy thread and any player seems like fantasy.I mean we have been linked to so many players this summer and save 1 or 2 its always the same mgt say no truth in the link...While we have been linked tis summer with Ibra Robinho Fabiano Balotelli Honda Sakho etc... I think the links of Soktratis and Ledesma are more likely.

Well Jay, people have different view on the situation...I myself agree with you that money is tight, most probably will end up with nothing, but on the other hand i do believe with some smart moves mgm can make a good mercato.

Have in mind that both Robinho and Ibra are for sale, both of them want out..that fact alone gives us the right ti believe that we can get them. Not at the moment,but if we sell Dinho and Hunter which is not that unlikely, than we can compete for Ibra and maybe get Robinho on loan with the option to buy next season. this is doable even for our situation(read no money).

Dinho + Hunter + Sotari+ wages can finance Ibra(even better if Barca agrees to 3-4 years payment) plus don`t forget that Dida`s wage is half of what Ibra would ask.

One more thing, I`m sure that if we had last year 15 mil to spend on Hunter, now we have at least the same amount of money,taking in consideration that we play CL and we have a new sponsor. So IMO Robinho is very valid option.

I just read Dinho story sounds odd.Because it says will accept 4 million a year which is half what he gets now and also that Flamengo are banking Milan releasing him to ease the burden on our wages...somehow I cannot mgt just releasing for no transfer at all.

That's 26m saved that could be used for a player like Dzeko.

One thing we always seem to forget, we have no clue what the Milan management are thinking and planning, and if they sign someone it will come out of the blue (onyewu, amelia) etc... All we can do is just wait and be patient I guess..

Janku and Kaladze are really giving us some serious head aches. I hope the fans destroy them when they see them in the city. Pathetic bunch of losers tryna squeeze as much fame as they can while it lasts.

BTW, the Greek Genoa defender 'Papa' is not bad at all and I had noticed him alot more when I see Genoa games than Criscitto (really crap player).

I read on TMW that the club gave Ronaldinho some more holidays to let him decide his future as the club sent him the offers (the ones Milan would accept) from the other clubs. Just rumours anyway ...

If I'm not wrong, Ronaldinho didn't get any new contract, so it will end in June 2011 (one year).

In this article, they say that Ronaldinho has agreed to join Flamengo, but not now.
His contract would have an option, a free release clause for January 2011. If that's true, it's probably one of the most stupid things the management did: putting a free release option in the contract and then not renewing it to keep pressure on the player in his last year of contract, which means they forgot the free release option.

Let's wait and see, but I think something's going to happen with Ronaldinho in the next few days.

My job was only a contract and in marketing & communications for a government funding agency. So when the new gov over here came in, they set targets of a 25% cut in government costs in marketing so my position was one of the first to go. Shame it was a couple of weeks earlier as i could have watched all of the world cup at home!

kastriot, actually, it does... all those three players are terribly inconsistent.

We need a superstar in the lineup and it is not Pato. Not yet at least.
