yep, me . At first glance that figure looks indeed insane but once you think about it given all the publicity, it sounds like a very realistic amount.
What I wonder is if he earns that much from his image rights, just imagine how much do all those companies, whose products he's advertising, earn ... I bet each one of those CEOs are rubbing hands each time Dinho is chosen for Player of the Year by FIFA *hint, hint*
BTW, I think Dinho's revenue for this fiscal year would be considerably less given that Sheva-Gila, with his new avatar, just robbed him of a whole bunch of pennies

I think this Ronaldinho thing is pure bullocks!! I don't want to sound idiotic but maybe with 80 millions euros we would buy (or could have bought) 4 very good player. Examples: Tevez, Zambrotta, Buffon, Cannavaro, Crespo etc.

It does make you wonder sometimes why Berlusconi is prepared to risk all on one player rather than addressing the obvious problem areas in the team.

Sometimes i think that the board still see the side as the unbeatable team from the late 80's to mid 90's, rather than admitting that this current team needs several new players in key positions.

On the mark, Jim: as I've said before, the board still lives on the mid 90's, when players like Fat Ronnie, Vieri, Rivaldo, Amoroso, etc. were oustanding. Furthermore, I guess it will really be tremendously stupid splash all the cash on a single player. I'll be much more inteligent to buy Torres, Gallas, Miguel/Alves/Oddo and Diarra.

Wow if this Ronaldinho thing does materialize, Barcelona fans are gonna riot in the streets!

Yesterday I saw interwiew with Laporta on some british channel ( cant remember what ), but it goes something like this...... He says Barca will offer realistic contract to Ronaldinho, somewhere around 8 mil for a season. Milan made an offer of 80-85 mil euros + 12mil per season wages for Ronaldinho. So, Milan woulb spend around 130 mil in 4 or 5 years for him!!! 130 mil!!!!! we can buy Diarra, Torres, Gallas and Buffon for that money!!! its ridiculous!!

you have to think, if we got dhinio how many extra shirts would we sell? hes an icon hes been the best footballer for atleast the last 2-3 years, hes an icon and i know how berlu thinks, once we get him think of all the extra cash we can get.
