Milan has a good history of wins but you cant just sit idle dream about the past.

Barca were stronger than Milan last year. And they still did better transfers like Zambrotta, Gudjonsen, Thuram.
The transfer season is a marathon, not a sprint. There is still an entire week remaining to bring in players. Barcelona and the others were not contrained by an uncertain situation until just two days ago as Milan was (and a very uncertain situation for much of the summer). And I don't recall seeing either Liverpool or Atletico Madrid sign anyone who would be an earthshattering signing for Milan (at least in the near term, although I would have liked to have had Aguero). So why don't we just wait another week before we pass final judgement?

Also, being impatient and constantly complaining is not going to change the situation, regardless of what it is. Some of our posters are doing nothing but irritating other posters. Calling Ronaldo "Fat Ronnie" in every sentence is going to make absolutely no difference as far as the possible transfer is concerned.

Omer made the comparison, not I. And if you think Ronaldo is "fat," then you really have a strange understanding of the word. A few pounds overweigh is not "fat." As I've said many times, I would bet everything I have that Ronaldo's percentage of body fat is lower than 9 out of 10 posters who call him childish names.

Right, I want personal arguments to end, otherwise I'll intervene here like I did with the Ronaldo thread!

If you're going to be technical about it, then no he isn't "fat", but he's definately over weight. When you saw him in the World Cup did you think he looked ok ? He was slow, puffing his cheeks and sweating after he did a tiny bit of running and when he stood sideways he looked larger than he should. This doesn't describe someone who is just a few pounds over weight.

With your bet Rick i think you'd lose ...

Out of condition and a few pounds overweight is not the same as "fat" or "obese." (Both words which have been used freely to describe him.)

And trained athletes -- even those who are out of shape -- tend to have far lower percentages of body fat than do normal people. And they tend to have far lower percentages of body fat than people who spend a lot of time sitting at a computer. So I think I would win easily, even if it might not be apparent. Even people who consider themselves "thin" tend to have higher percentages of body fat than professional athletes (sumo wrestlers excluded, of course).

Curious as what my body fat percentage was, i took a test and mine is less than 10% body fat ... so i'm not sure he'd beat me

This is before the world cup and he definately shows he's a bit tubby round the waist.

Ronaldo 1

I've also found the reason why he's tubby !

Ronaldo 2
