I don't think it'd be cruel, because he is getting long in the tooth (37 at the start of next season) and he isn't VDS in terms of longevity by any means. He might be allowed to hang around at a much lower wage plus the risk of being a reserve. Our GK situation can't go ignored for much longer because the guys are in form, and we need new blood. Personally, I hope he retires and is able to end his career on a high.

Now I understand(believe) what Palmeiras president claimed 3 weeks ago, when he said that 90% of the European clubs are in a mess(money wise) after a meeting with them in Europe.

I know It´s always a risk to buy and young player, but this guy has tons of talent, is a good boy, professional... and only for 6 millions??

i have a question: How many non-EU spots are we allowed in Serie A? is it 4? 5? 6?
and who are our non-EUs? Pato, Dinho, Thiago, Dida, Onyewu, and now Adiyiah??? is Kaladze a non-EU?

ok i guess that's more than 1 question...but i am really interested to know who is occupying these spots because obviously that should be important in deciding if a player is worth that spot and worth us being unable to sign a player like Krasic if that really is the excuse...

I believe beckham can fit in the starting 11 like this:

4 defenders
beckham - pirlo - seedorf
3 attackers

Yup, without any DM's as all of beckham, pirlo, and seedorf can defend when they play on a straight line in the middle of the pitch.

however if we play our usualy 4-2-1-3 he could fit in instead of Pirlo so we can have Beckham + 1 DM just behind Seedorf. I don't think we can play Beckham on the right wing cause he doesnt have speed nor skills. I think Abate is better equipped on the right flank and he himself is not good enough.

Yes but Seedorf will never come back to that straight line bec ouse we are now a team where he plays AM when he feels like staying up front, and CM when he feels like staying back...

About Teixeira, for 6mln Milan could have bought this player that is proven and can play wide role of Pato and Ronaldinho. But seems like Galliani decided to buy non-eu player from U20 by seeing him in 6/7 games... Viudez and now Adiyiah. If Adiyiah doesnt come good then Galliani really messed up another non-eu issue in mercato.

IMO Adiyiah's transfer has written failure all over it. Our MGT is very bad at signing younsters for little money. Grimi, viudez, cardaccio, Adiyiah

You know that I´m a pro Galliani guy, my friend, but some decisions(not only by him) taked in Milan I really don´t understand.

As you said, you have a boy that was also a bright spot at U20, but with a plus, because is playing at professional level for 2 seasons(last one as a starter), and you don´t go for him? If it was big money, it´s all right, but for only 6 millions? Plus, it will be paid in 3 years!!

Just to put in perspective, Inter last season bought P. Coutinho(also from Vasco da Gama) for only 3 million... plus, they will pay only one million during 3 years for Vasco. One freak million for year!!

Despite Coutinho being labeled a top 2 of his generation here in Brazil(with Neymar), I now that anything can happen, and this kid could turn into a bust. But the price is so cheap, that it´s worth the gamble... With one sold out game in Champions we could have pay this kid...

And as you said, he can do Pato or Ronaldinho role...

Filipéz... I watched every game from Gahna, Brazil and Spain in that U20... and there´s no way Adiyiah was the best player from them. The left-back was much more impressive in the tournament. But just because the boy scored a lot he earns the prize. Also, he didn´t show nothing to be a sub for Pato or Ronaldinho... he was more a pure forward.

sometimes I think galliani and silvio doesnt want Milan to get great again, they do so much stupid things... the things they do are not normal, there's no logic at all in what theyre doing :s

Galliani loves MIlan... I have no doubt about it. Silvio didn´t have the time to do anything really worth...

Imo the problem are in the people that they trust more. I don´t believe Galliani was the man to ask for Adiyah, or that came here to buy Grimmi, Cardaccio or Viudez... they didn´t have this type of time.

The problem is in the ones that they trust and give them this type of advice. If they only give Leonardo a more advanced role in that area. Kaka, Pato, Luis Fabiano, Sissoko, Hernanes...

I think Leo proved to be good, and have room to make 1 or 2 mistakes in mercato...

Rumours that we've signed Milan Jovanovic from Standard Liege. He's a 28 year old forward that apparently can play on the wings as well. I think that he's available on free, though I might be mistaken. Perhaps someone else knows something?

the only thing I like about him are his interviews, this guy speaks something like russian-english and its very funny when you hear the guy talk. He's a very good player for the belgian league, same as onyewu.
There's only 1 player I would like from the belgian league and thats 16yo Romelu lukaku, 9goals in the league and scored 2 this week against ajax in the euro league. but offcourse we wont get him as he costs money

any one has any reviews on Jovanovic? All I know is that he has a really cool name but I hear that he is no where near Milan class....can anyone confirm please?

I agree about Adiyiah. I just simply don't understand them spending their last non-eu spot on him when there are players like Krasic, Hernanes out there that could help us immediately. I mean, even if he turns out to be good... he isn't going to be an important player for us this year. I really hope the fans continue this strike against Milan, the management really does not deserve to take credit for the great work of Leo and the squad..They deserve nothing but crap in their faces.

I could be biased, but sometimes I felt that our management easily fill up our non-EU quotas just to kill off fans' hope. It is like "we have bought Shevchenko and Viudez, so just stop dreaming already". Now it happens again, "we have bought Adiyiah, so forget about Dzeko. We couldn't do anything even if we would love to." It's annoying.

I am watching Real Madrid playing Real Zaragoza. Van der Vaart has scored two goals and Real Madrid are leading 3-0 after 30 minutes. The commendator said: "If the flying Dutchman keeps playing like this, Kaka might not have his place back." Wow, Real Madrid is such a rich mine, with the luxury of having Robben, Sneijder and VDV all expendable.

P.S. Make it 4-0. Higuain scored a beauty. Why didn't we ask for him? I am so jealous now.
