this board has become really quiet these days eh....

today we are linked with both the belgians, Lukaku and Dembele(cup-tied). They say Dembele is worth 15m euro but AZ are in a financial crisis and 5m would do. His agent said he can leave in January and they have an offer from Milan. (all from milannews)

Dembele will never leave for 5m. He wont go for less than 10. + I dont think he's Milan class, he is talented for sure, and he has done some great things, and had some great games but he never 100% convinced me. better go for Eden hazard then, another belgian winger, plays for Lille. but offcourse this kid would be more expensive

Lukaku would be a great buy, though he is only 16, it would be best to loan him. But anderlecht wont sell him. Rumours said there were some bids from 15-20m for him, probably from chelsea and anderlecht rejected so

Rumours about a possible purchase of Dembele from Alkmaar in January ...
His agent said he proposed him to Milan, Genoa (club already wanting him the last summer) and Inter.

I don't know anything about this Belgian player, Filipez ?

Geo, I just read on a Chinese site whom they are quoting French news....stating that Blanc might be the next Inter coach and if thats the case Gourcuff will be following him.
Have you come across that in France?

Can't say I know a great deal about Lukaku. From what I've seen he looks very much a player like Drogba.

Eden Hazard is another who is no doubt talented, but until now I've not seen enough to really make a good judgement.

As for Dembele, I think he's talented and would probably fit quite well into our team due to his playing style, although maybe he's a little selfish (he'd be a good alternative to Pato). He's one I thought could have been useful had we got him in the summer, so I'm not against his move.

Blanc actually has an option in his contract allowing him to leave for any big club or the NT when he wants. This option will be active the next summer.

Blanc is probably the best French coach since a while, but that's not very surprising as he was brilliant in defence and had an amazing vision of the game (it's why if Maldini wanted to be a coach, he would certainly be one of the best of all times).

So, to reply you, Blanc is linked with all big clubs: the ones having problems with their coach (Juventus, Real Madrid, Liverpool) and the ones where the coach might leave at the end of the season (Inter, Manchester United). The most solid link seems to be with Manchester United as, from French sources, Ferguson would prefer Blanc after him (not necessarely at the end of this season as I don't think Ferguson will leave) instead of Mourinho.

About Gourcuff following him, I don't know but that wouldn't surprise me, if the coach who managed to use his potential leaves for a big club, Gourcuff should maybe make the jump with this coach as he will be more confident with him (and he knows he will be used in the same way but with better partners around him) ...

Calciomercato, without any source, says we are interested in Dzeko (again and again) and Inler.

Here in Holland i have seen ton of matches of Dembele,and usually those youtube videos arent that trustworthy,but it really shows the skill of Moussa.

He would be PERFECT for this Milan,and he could add something immediately,because he has enough experience.He is made to play at Serie A,there really arent players around with his strength,i remember watching him play against Puyol with Belgium VS Spain,and Puyol was physiqually struggling to play against Moussa.

But i dont believe he will come,the rumours are just to small..

Just want to add that, Cap Maldini played as a CB since 2001, so R. Carlos should be beating him in the poll as the best LB over the last ten years, as Cap only played as LB like max 3 seasons. Thats another reason why I think Goal.com is crap and they should have put Cap in the CB section instead of the LB. When it comes to RB, they gave Alves but left out Maicon. Since both of them pretty much started to gain world class status at the same time, don't know why one is left out while the other is in.

As for judging talents from youtube. Personally, thats the last place I would go to check out a talent as if thats the case, people would probably think Baresi was a striker or midfielder instead of a CB.

you're right that Paolo played most of this decade as CB and it's goal.com's mistake to put him under left back but no matter what the position is, RC should not even be put in the same list as Paolo period....that's ridiculous.

as for youtube well yeah, it's where i have been checking some talents lately and just yesterday i checked out Ezequiel Matias Schelotto who is being mentioned for some time...found a couple of vids so not enough to have a real say in it...but i like that he is 20, has an italian nationality, tall (1.87cm) and obviously has some talent...is it enough to play for Milan??? i hope someone here has seen more of him and could share.

i just like to add that in one of the Schelotto vids i noticed the striker of cesena called Giaccherini ....scored 2 goals (2nd is a brilliant one) and made an assist...i looked him up...he's 24....but that was just highlights from one match

If I'm correct, there's no limit in number of non-eu spots, but there is a limited number of non-eu players a team can add per season. A team can add one non-eu player per season from outside of Italy. If a team buys a non-eu player who is already owned by Italy-based team, that wouldn't count against the non-eu spot (for example, if we buy Zapata, we would still have our non-eu spot, but if we buy Dzeko, the spot will be filled in).

there's a possibility of one more non-eu spot per season opening up, and that can happen if one of team's non-eu players goes to another country.
