Official: Yoann Gourcuff PERMANENT TRANSFER to Bordeaux

Thats good. I hope he will be loaned but not with option to buy! It's better to loan him to other italian club even the loaned club wants co-ownership.

I couldn't read/watch news for several weeks. I just heard from my friend : Gourcuff has been sold out!I was so disappointed. How could the management sell that brilliant talent?

Some news from France ...

Gourcuff is used as a starter in Bordeaux (2 times in Ligue 1 for 1 goal scored, 1 time in Trophy of Champions against Lyon). He plays as a central attacking midfielder, which seems to be his best position. That's good to see that as we'll need someone to replace Seedorf in our squad soon ...

It seems like he has adapted really well and quickly to his new team.
This year will be good for him, anyway, that really starts in the best way possible.

EDIT: You also have to know that Ligue 1 is not at the same level as Serie A, some games are really poor, so it is normal that he'll seem to be in a better form than in Milan.

All we don't know is if our management plans to take him back next year or loan him again, or worst, sell him to Bordeaux or other club ...

Anyway, I'll try to give some news sometimes about him !!

^^ I've heard good reports from people who follow the French Ligue1...I downloaded Lyon vs Bordeaux and watched Gourcuff's first official game. He was decent but obviously wasn't trying to do too much. I just downloaded Bordeaux vs PSG which was this past weekend. I'll give a report on his performance after I watch it later tonight.

EDIT: He was also given his first national team call up for a friendly against Sweden.

OK I just watched the Bordeaux PSG match and I must say Gourcuff looked good. He was always showing for the ball and you could tell that he actually has a coach who talks to and works with him (unlike .........). He improved greatly from the Lyon game earlier in August. He was playing a real #10 role, unselfish, distributing the ball around the pitch and he wasn't afraid to take shots from outside the box on either foot(one which curled just outside the post). He makes decisions a lot quicker but still needs to work on those free kicks and his long range shots.

I'm certain by the year end, if he keeps up these performances, he'll be a fixture in the French national team.

Well its certainly nice to see and I hope for him to come back to Milan and fulfill his potential. Before he lost his way, he seemed to play football the way it is supposed to be played.

I have faith in him and hope he comes back to Milan in the future.
He still is a young player and could develop into a world class midfielder.

About these transfer.I think that It's the worst of these summer market because Gorkuff is one of the best young players and we must beck him next summer!

I'm curious about tonight: I'll watch the French NT match for one single reason ... Gourcuff will be given the keys of French attack as he will play as a starter in the AM position.

It's a choice that Domenech does because if they loose tonight, it seems like he will be fired, so they have to win and to do so, he has chosen to put Gourcuff as a starter.

A new step in his career ?

If he plays greatly tonight and helps the French NT to win, he could become a starter in this team, have confidence, play even more greatly and then he could come back ...

PS: A bit like Gilardino, they should have loaned him because he'll be in fire in this season and will retrieve confidence (seems like he has already retrieved it).
