why is DIDA injured?
when i've heard that Kalac is injured i was very sad but i said we have dida and now i read that he is injured
how is that posible

Dida's injury was surrealistic. He injured himself while sitting on the bench. I've heard in Japan he injured himself while bent over to push the lifter's button. No jokes. He has some serious problem on his backside.

tall people have injury prone backs, given that he is an athlete it's pretty logical..
hope Kalac doesn't have to face such problems

He was attempting to stand up from the bench at halftime when his back seized up. It's not as surreal or amusing as it sounds. I knew someone whose back went out after simply reaching down to pick up a pencil.

Yeah both are out, Sagna has personal problems and Clichy through injury.

Not to add Rosicky, Van Persie etc to the list. I just hope it doesn't affect the league because I remember last season Arsenal went out of 3 competitions in 10 days. I couldn't care less about the CL, FA Cup or the league cup as long as they win the Premiership.

IMO Inzaghi should only be used in Europe and should not have featured against Parma.

We can win the match as long as we have clichy and sagna...the man utd game was aone off due to the fact that hoyte and traore are very inexperience.

Im not sure Arsenal will use Hleb, Rosicky, Eduardo and Adebayor agains Milan. Its too offensive... isnt it? You only have Flamini and Fabregas to defend properly in the middle. Its not like Milan has no attacking power...

Agree. As many arsenal matches I've seen, both Clichy and Sagna are much better than Armand Traore & Hoyte.

cescvanpersie, do you believe that wenger will play eduardo since 1st minute partnership with adebayor in emirates stadium ? i think eduardo's physically weak if matched up with italian defender.

I'm dreaming : Adebayor + fit Van Persie vs Nesta + The Old Maldini

Nesta + Old Maldini is, on average, going to be the best defense you'll see in the world.

or perhaps Maldini + COstacurta or Baresi + Maldini?

Traore and Hoyte was a nightmare against MU.i don't think Wenger will plays these 2 young boys against us.as for Sagna his brother just passed away.there's possibility that he couldn't play against us.but still not official yet.
Adebayor is a complete player (head,both feet) and he also fast.. it will be nice to see his battle with Nesta or Maldini.as for GK they will play Almunia i guess.Lehman lost his place these recent days (remains me with Dida and Kalac).well... if we could stop Cesc - Hleb - Flamini this game is ours

Mrki Wenger always uses Hleb, Rosicky, Fabregas and Flaminim. The only player he might not use is Eduardo but I feel Arsene knows to win the tie Arsenal will have to win at Ashburton Grove and play for a draw at the San Siro.

Arsenal got into the final a few years back playing defensive with a 451 formation, IMHO it all depends on the first tie if Arsenal get a win then they will play the 451 formation at the san siro with Ade upfront. If Arsenal draw or lose then it will definitely be a 442 at the san siro.

The strongest line up has always been Sagna, Gallas, Toure, Clichy, Hleb, Fabregas, Flamini, Rosicky, Persie and Adebayor. However Eduardo has taken Persies place.

Putting Traore and Hoyte against United was suicidal from the very start, IMO Wenger WILL start with Ade and Eduardo upfront. Eduardo didn't have an impact on the United game because he was used out of position, everytime he's been put on the win he looks lost.

Eduardo is an excellent player always improving with game after game, I think he might cause a few problems in Europe just like he done on the international level. Italian defense is very difficult to break down but remember what Eduardo done to italy?

No way Persie will be fit in time, as long as Persie is fit to play some part during the end of the season I'm happy.

I think the following line up is the most likeliest:

Almunia / Lehmann (Depending on fitness)

Clichy----------Gallas--Toure---------Sagna (Not sure about the fullbacks)

Hleb---------Flamini----Cesc--------Rosicky/Eboue

Ade -----Eduardo

Now that is something we can all dream about

As much as I am also a gunners fan, I have to admit that Arsenal have a very bad habit. They are very slow to bounce back, like last season or the season before last when they lost the carling cup, fa cup and champions league in a very short period.

This season, few weeks ago they lost 5-0 to tottenham at carling cup and 4-0 lost to MU at FA cup last saturday.
Just hope that milan can make a better use of this statistic as an advantage

ahhh i think wenger will play Eduardo because van persie isn't match fit and Eduardo is very clinical
We can have a few chances against you defenders because they are experienced...so i think eduardo is the one to finish the few chances we might get
