Is it JUST me or .....
Hi guys, BUT is it just me or are we patching over the cracks here, dont get me wrong im proud of the boys for not giving up. but if we didn't score the last minute goal everyone would be saying "not good enough etc etc" am i being too negative?
i thought the performance was ok. i think the problem is pace we never have pace to create space!! i find it frustrating to watch milan in serie A. We only have pato who is amazing but we are just slow! . Dont get me wrong if we won 2-1 and played brilliantly i would be happy with the squad and players but its really not the case.Nesta and Silva are great but our full backs are terrible and our midfield are class but we are going to run out of gas. Happy with the win and team spirit but surely there will be reinforcements in January, i know we all complain but surely management see what we see. Hopefully Hunter learns to play in the team.

Well.....the second half against Chievo was very good IMO. We actually played the ball at pace. So we still don't have the pace you are talking about (individual) but we moved the ball around the park quickly. We created space and oportunities. We created space for crosses and chances. We were denied by Sorentino a number of times and were at times unlucky not to score. So at response of our problem being pace....I agree to an extend. We can definitely use some pacey players that'll take the ball to opponents. BUT, the second half of the Chievo proves that you can compensate for that and still play great even without that many pacey players in the side. The fact is that, "the ball moves faster then anyone on the field and it never gets tired"!!!!!! So if we move it quickly, we'll do great!
So, me personally, I was really really really not happy with the first half. But we turned the page in the second and played very well. So even if we didn't win I would have still said that the second half was a great performance. But also, even with the win and 3 points I say that we have much to work on and there is no reason why we should be starting games as poorly as we did against Chievo. (and also against Roma and Madrid for that point as well) Clearly the problem of that is psychological. It's in the head. The players didn't learn how to play the game better at half time.....they just got their heads out of their behinds and actually started doing what they can.
