(like Coentraro) But yet he is very good on offense. he has speed, movement and dribbling skills. His finishing is not bad for a left wing back oriented player, as he scored 8 goals for Ajax last season. He is playing with regularity in Ajax's line up.

Milan needs to replace Seedorf and Ambro in short term, so we will sign great players to replace them. just a problem of time if you ask me. We have a complete young midfielder in Merkel, who is very impressive so far who can be used in midfield trio as well as trequartista role.
I have a feeling that we'll go for average players (Criscito, Ziegler, Emmanuelson) next few years to replace our older players then Galliani will defend himself saying " We have Ibra, Robinho, Cassano, and Pato" Champions!!!....meanwhile we'll be weak at the back ....

I'm very confused, I hope we don't have Rafa Benitez in disguise coaching us...

Secondly, what happened with Ziegler? He refused to come to AC Milan? Would rather play with Sampdoria? and his agent left him? HAHA what's this news today Im laughing about it all....
We cant sign Jucilei or Honda because of Non EU status. Ganso? We are well covered in that role. at least for now.

---------------Cassano/Robinho/Seedorf--------

I know we don't have Non EU spot. I'd rather sign no one, then wastes of space, and then sign who we really need in June.

I'm all for us getting guys like Jucilei, Ganso, Neymar or Honda (well, haven't heard or seen anything from him since the WC), but it shouldn't be an obsession !!

Sometimes, it looks like these players are the only ones we should look for on this forum, but no, there are tons of players in the world and there are other data to take into consideration (money we have, money the clubs ask, contracts, EU/Non-EU, our needs, the will of the players, ...).

It's not because we got Ibra, Cassano and Robinho the same year that we'll get WC midfielders and WC defenders at the same time, it's even contradictory to think so ... This winter mercato is nothing more than completing the team to end the season (and of course, we complete it for the next seasons too at the same time) !! Deal with it !! We had no bench for years, and now we look like we're working on that after buying great players, people aren't happy ?

And replacing our former star players (who are still in Milan right now) will not be done in one single season as it's simply impossible because of money, we'll do it in two or more seasons.

EDIT:

With Emmanuelson, and with the fact that Robinho seems to be used as our trequartista (Allegri said today he was very happy with his work there), that we have Seedorf and that Cassano could possibly be used there too, without forgetting Boateng, our team could look this way ...

Ibra/Cassano - Pato/Cassano (+ Robinho if needed)
Robinho/Seedorf/Boateng (3 players)
Pirlo/Emmanuelson - Ambrosini/Flamini - Boateng/Gattuso (+ Merkel and Strasser if needed)
...

If you look at it, we never were as covered in these positions as this season, and we have possibly two teams being almost even regarding their level. IMO, that's more than ok as it has been done in two mercato sessions and more things could happen then when guys like Seedorf will leave (unless they give him one more year ? ) !!

I welcome the Emanuelson signing. Sure, I would've liked Criscito and Ziegler better but signing Emanuelson isn't the worst thing in the world either. He is young, dynamic, athletic and works very hard on the pitch. A lot of these characteristics reminds me of Boateng. A lot of people doubted that signing in the summer as well and look how that worked out. Young players can transform quickly in the right situations.

Welcome Emanuelson now we have serginho's Heir, workrate, speed(i mean abate speed), dribbling skills, beautiful crosses, set pieces skills and shooting. he is not bad defensivly but when u have a threat, the last thing u wanna do is attack i.e maicon vs bale. i am really looking forward for this transfer this guy will prove very useful

his career stats are 21 goals and 31 assists not bad at all .

Geo, Honda is currently lighting the Asian Cup on fire.

As for Emanuelson,he will be a great depth player for Milan since he can play in a numbers of positions.

Hitman, actually, Honda is playing very well, I think Kagawa gets more credits due to his goals since Honda is playing as a mid instead of striker in the WC.

Emanuelson costs us 1.5 euros. he will earn 1.4 m euros a year until 2014. Thats a good contract. (Source:GDS)

He is like a Serginho heir, like i said before, Milan doesnt have a this kind of player for left wing, Abate improved quite a lot recently. Emanuelson is dyamic, im impressed with his movement and dribbling skills, he is quite fast, work rate. Lets remember that he was valued at 9 m euros last summer and some english clubs were after him such as Tottenham. in this case, i consider this transfer as a positive transfer.

ACMILAN1983 will become famous soon enough
Is this Emanuelson signing official? I know it's pretty much there but have yet to see an official note. Anyway, if he's joined then welcome to him.

Also, an interesting comment from Neymar saying how much he respects Binho and the players he follows most are Binho, Pato and Thiago Silva. Interesting comments which may be an indicator that we're looking at him. I also cannot ignore all the Pato rumours lately and if we were to sell him, then I can see Neymar being signed as a replacement (I wouldn't want anyone with less ability and potential to grow)

Neymar said it all in his GDS interview few days ago.

Btw, Domizzi scored for Udine, now 3-1.
