I think you'll are overrating Ronaldinho just a tad. Yes he is good.. but definitely not worth so much money. He tries waaay too hard to impress the crowd with his tricks and flicks and dribbling skills. When a simple pass could suffice.. he'll try a no look-under the arm-behind the back pass that is completely unnecessary. Add that to the fact that we DON'T need him and that'll be a whole lot of money well saved.

Wouldnt that be a hand ball my fellow islander?

Actually, if I had a choice, I would ask for Ronaldinho, Tevez and Gallas, and consider my shopping done.

Because the team could be more wisely reinforced with that money. Would you rather JUST Ronaldinho or a striker + a midfielder + a defender + a goalkeeper ?

Come on, Warro, and I say 'the board', I'm surely including Berlusconi, it's just a matter of semantics hehe.

With that 12m per season, he can do all the no look pass to the bank.
In a long term, the pay gap between him and the other palyers may take a toll. There will be a day when kaka, pirlo and gatusso just sit back and let dinho do the no look pass to the opponent's goal.

I deemed this totally impossible after first hearing this news. But after more than 13 pages of posts, I think we have finally convinced ourselves to hang on to that minutest possibility of Ronaldinho coming to Milan. Amidst the crappy transfer season right now, this thread will keep us in dream land till end of August.
Or till we get our surprise transfer, if it does happen.

This year I believe its not possible, but next year chances are really good for Ronaldinho to join Milan. Still, untill now, he didnt sign new contract that Laporta is offering, and Silvio offers 4 mil more, so chances still are....10% maybe.
