Then they will find out that Dzeko got hair problem or something and asks for a decrease in the price.
Then Galli will come out and say that Polashi is proven to be a great striker and already have Serie A exp.....
I think the big CB is going to be Astori in the summer. As much as I would like to see a new CB for Milan, thats just won't be happening. 1. He will have to accept a bench role, which no first class CB at this moment would like to accept that before the WC.
2. Price must be right.
3. Must be able to play CL.
Guys like Racchinna and Bonnini-those two Bari's CBs or Kjaer or any top CB currently starting will not come to Milan and accept a bench role. The real possible target is Santacroce, but he had been injured and unsure about his fitness.
Bonera is probably the best possible CB off the bench for Milan, but he is injury prone.

Well, good for them. That way they can pressure Milan into getting better

For some odd reason, I am a little piss about Milan not going after Toni. As to me he is the type of striker Milan needs. Someone who can score inside the box with crosses from Beck and passes from Dinho. Then again, I won't be surprise if he struggles with Roma.

So you're basically saying that Wolfsburg should give us a CF that every team who needs one looks for (Arsenal, Milan, Manchester Utd, Chelsea...), and who's price tag now is 30 mil. euros, in exchange for Huntelaar who was/is rejected by Real and Milan and who's price tag is not over 15 mil. euros?! Beautiful. Who the **** is Armin Veh then, Galliani's brother?!

But in one thing you're right, he's not Sheva or Ronaldo, he's more like Bierhoff, faster and better technically. Yes and that's exactly what we need right now, faster and more technical Bierhoff.

On the swap thing, anyone think a straight swap of Hunter and Berba is a good deal?
Just wondering, since both are struggling with forms and both used to have a price tag of 30m one year ago.

No Berbaflop would not do well at Milan , he was average to good at Leverkusen and scored most of his goals against small teams for Spur's he cannot even do that now for Man Utd I think Berbaflop is an overratted player and was not worth £32 Million and at 29 is not what Milan need. If we could get him for free or 5 Million then yes but other than that keep Hunter.

If we can welcome Astori to replace Kaladze on the bench, it will be such an improvement for our defence ... BUT only if Astori can get some playing time, because if not, he will not improve. So if we get Astori back, it has to be to play instead of one of our CBs sometimes, especially Nesta, to allow them to have some rest !!

That way, we could use Astori against smaller teams, and Nesta against the strongest ones and in CL ...

About Mongongu, he's a very young CB (20) and plays his first season in the first team of Monaco ... he's one of their best players, but he has no experience, so I don't know how he could be a reinforcement for our defence if he comes and never plays ?! The best with this kind of player, if we really want him, is to buy him now but loan him to Monaco (or some other club in Italy for example) where he will get playing time this year, and maybe even next year.

About Demel, some websites say we are interested by him principally because he can play in both CB and RB (his current role) positions ... but I don't know if he is a good player or not.

Astori is not a player for Milan right now, but he is ours and is free so most likely he'll come.

News are that Madrid offered 65mln for Pato and Pato still hasnt signed new contract with Milan. His current expires in 2012. Since we are a club that suddenly found itself in 899099 mln debt and needs to sell everything that can be sold Im sure they will find a way to sell the Duck sooner or later. After that move we'll officially become a club that simply sells its best players and simbols to some riches club. Sad, and Im not optimistic considering this mercato either.

Ribery has confirmed he snubbed Inter for Real and he promissed himself to Perez. That means that Moratti DID TRY for Ribery... which means he was again ready to invest in Inter, unlike our lovely duo and Braida ( the man who travels to see Brasilian league for fun! )

25mln+Huntelaar for Dzeko is stupid, lets not do that. Torres is worth 45-50mln for the love of god. And Huntelaar is 3 times player Borriello will ever be.

I do not know much about Monaco CB though...

Geo, question: I've seen some nive goals and moves from Hazard this year, how is he doing?

I think he is still protected by his coach ... I mean, he isn't always a starter.
Anyway, lately, he did great things, but not only him, it is actually the entire Lille team that did great things.

Lille could be compared to a typhoon that hit Ligue 1 in December ... just look at this:
- 28/11/09, Lille 4-0 Valenciennes
- 06/12/09, Lille 4-3 Lyon (after loosing 3-1 at half time)
- 10/12/09, Lille 4-0 Saint Etienne
- 13/12/09, Monaco 0-4 Lille
- 20/12/09, Lille 3-0 Le Mans
- 23/12/09, Nancy 0-4 Lille

Simply amazing football from the Dogues in this end of 2009 (everyone hopes they will play like that also in 2010 because it was a real show). I think no French team ever played that great (and they were in the relegation zone at the start of the season), they could have seriously competed with the best European teams during this period ...

So, when a team plays like that, of course, eveyone is full of confidence and Hazard is a part of this team so ...

Now, what will be interesting is to see how this team will react after these 3 weeks without competition, and of course, how their players will do. If they can maintain this form, they will be unstoppable in Ligue 1 (even Bordeaux lost 2-0 against them) and some players, including Hazard, and more importantly, Gervinho, could become really interesting.

PS: Gervinho was very bad during his first weeks in Lille but something changed in this team and he recalls a bit Ronaldinho from PSG (before he came to Barcelona) ...

Hazard could be great but as a sub for Dhino and why not seedorf...
Unfortunately he has real madrid written all over him.
Since madrid has to many players (allthough madrid never seem to have to many players) he could opt for another team and I think Arsenal will be his most likely destination. But I would like it if we steal him.

Gervino is a gem but he has been like that since he arrived in Europe his only problem is his mentality. Maybe he bettered over the years but I doubt that (see Romaric).

Huntelaar should still get a proper chance, even after those two goals in injurytime(second one just proved he has the class to play for us!)people still doubt his ability. He is way better then Borriello,Borrie suits our tactical system more, but no way he can show up in big matches. He hasnt the quality to do so,Hunter is capable of being decisive on the right time.

25 million plus Huntelaar for Dzeko?I hope not.Who do they think Dzeko is,Torres?Huntelaar is at least worth 12 million,we cant give so much for Dzeko(even if it would be my dream if he would come).25 million max for Dzeko,Wolfsburg shouldnt push it.

Demel and Mongongu, sounds good even if i havent seen them at action.Mongongu is a bright prospect for the future,so signing him would be a great job.And even if i dont know Demel very well,he seems a very solid player, not worldclass ofcourse but much better then Kaladze and Gooch....

But still....rumours,rumours,rumours...i want to see some real job doing done!

Claudio Pasqualin, "procuratore", says that Torres is the dream of Galliani.
Is Berlusconi going to try to make this dream real like he did with his own dream (Ronaldinho) ? Who knows ? ok it's stupid but there are so many rumours again that it's funny to read where this or that rumour comes from ...

All the voices about a Huntelaar <-> Dzeko deal for January are anyway a non-sense ... we simply can't rely only on Borriello and Inzaghi for the front of our attack in CL (Pato is on the right), and if Dzeko comes, he would probably play, which means Dzeko in Serie A, and a player like Borriello or Inzaghi who doesn't play too often for CL ... it's suicide.

And about making this deal now for June, it's also stupid, let's give a chance to Huntelaar before already trying to show him the door !!

To me, Dzeko is a must buy for us next season. The way our tactical system is structured, we need our CF to be a playmaker, even at the expense of scoring. Borriello starts for us because he can make play for others. Huntelaar, on the other hand, does not have that characteristic. That is why the perfect Cf for us is someone who can score and make plays at the same time. And the only realistic target out there that can do that is Dzeko.

Not really a playmaker, but a foil. Someone to act like a giant wall to bounce pass and long balls onto the path of others, and also run around making a big scene creating openings and roughing up the defenders.

Sorry to say, but if Milan or any team is going to pay 25m for a striker, he better score some goals or he will be call a flop.

I mean Gila pretty much acted as a target point to head back long ball for Kaka and Seedorf all the time and yet, we all called him a flop. Labeled him mentally weak.....

Good thing is that, from the games I seen him played, he is a goalscorer who can also make good pass. Abit like Drogba except less physical dominating.
