Oddo, officially a Milan player!

wow, if we got Buffon, Oddo, Chivu, and Ibra that would make a killer lineup. I could just see this:

Gattuso-----Pirlo----Diarra

Ibrahimovic----Crespo


I really wouldn't mind who would start between Gila and Crespo if we got him. As for Diarra, I'm just hoping he'll come

roma and at one point he was named the next Maldini, he is injured alot.. he isnt an attacking fullback like cafu or Oddo...

I wouldn't sign Chivu as a left back at all.
Perhaps as a centreback, but I'd hesitate there aswell based on his injury proneness
Too bad, he's a great player, and would even set a few from set pieces...

Dr Milano why on earth would you want to play Chivu at left-back ? He'd be awful in that position. He plays CB for Roma.

I watched Chivu at centre back many times where he excellent. Its actually the reason why many people thought he would be Milan's successor to Maldini before he joined Roma.

Chivu strikes me as a loyal guy, someone that wouldnt bolt Roma for Milan, especially given each team's present.

That also means he wont move to Milan...

Oddo has been my 1st choice for RB but after considering his age, well we can only use him at most 2-3 years... my alternative is Daniel Alves, wing back from Sevilla, i watched him for some times and he actually impressed me with the way he attacked..young & pacy, good dribbler, good at crossing and most of all , he has the skill of most brazillian footballers (excl. roque junior)

so get him now to play RB... !

but how good a defender is he ? Although i've been crowing on about attacking full-backs, they still need to be decent defenders.

I've not seen him that much at all, so i can't really comment on him as a player. His attacking play is well documented, more so than his defensive skills.

This is why i like Reveillere. All the times i've seen him in the French league or in the CL he's had a great mix of strong tackling and good skill to get forward and beat people. Not that i want to hype him up to much, i just like him as a player.

He's a right back and was substitute for Zaccardo in the World Cup, that says it all doesn't it?

No no, actually I think he's much better than Zaccardo.

Sorry Arildonardo, my post was directed at edysupriadi and his comments about Alves. I was trying to determine how good Alves was defensively, not Oddo. I should have directed my post more clearly.

we need oddo

Jim Iv seen Alves play against R.Carlos and he was really feisty. He had some aggression and seemed willing to tackle back. Naurally he wont defend like an Italian, he is brazilian after all but Id say he is quite solid.
