I still think Ronnie can be great if the starts running... which he sometimes does.

I was hopeful that his desire to get back on his NT would cause him to work harder and to run, but this doesnt seem to be the case. If he cant force himself to preform in a WC year, than I would sell him for as much as possible.

Giuliano particularly intrigues me just cause i think we are lacking a true AM (well since seedorf is on downside of his career and we lost gourcuff. Would have loved us to get diego but oh well..). It seems douglas costa has faded, are there any other ones who have shown real potential?

As you said, Giuliano would be great because of our situation at AMD position. He also has the versatility to play in another role of the midfield. Even if it makes the purchase harder, I sure hope Giuliano repeat his South America under-20 performance at the under-20 Wold Cup in the final of september. Maybe that can wake up our managment, scouts(unfair of my part, because Idon´t know if they aren´t looking for him) for a player that has everything to be a world class. Cheap he will not be, because Internacional is a hard seller and they are real high on him. They are trying to take Giuliano out of Brazil under-20 NT since he became so important for the team.

Sandro is a true #5, but he´s a holder that can also create. Strong(and tall) boy also, and had his debut fot Brazil NT yesterday against Chile. Played some minutes and clearly shows the composure of the players that can´t fell the pressure to play with the yellow shirt.

Regarding Marquinhos(of the Internacional, because the one linked to us isn´t good), Inter fans that watched the boy playing at youth team, say wonders about him. He had a great goal in his debut as starter(first goal here in a pass of Giuliano):

Botton line, if I have the word on Milan transfers, of Brazil I will purchase Giuliano and Jucilei(Sandro is amazing but Jucilei potential is crazy). The first one wouldn´t be cheap... But with Jucilei(now), we wouldn´t spend that money. Now...

does anyone know why Pato has not been called up the NT recently? It seems like a good time to get him playing time since they have qualified

It's understandable if he does so, but in todays football it's the money that talks. Both of the club has 50% share each, so if they can't reach the agreement between themselves, then they make an offer in a sealed envelope, send it to FIGC (?) and the higher bidder wins. Just like what we didi with Di Gennaro and Borriello. That's quite simple IMO.

If we are to avoid making the mistake we did with Gorky, I think the MGT or Leo himself should keep in touch with Paloschi so that he doesn't feel neglected and that all his great performances last season in serie B and now in serie A don't go unnoticed.

He himself never badmouthed us, he grew in our youth academy, plus his idol is Pippo. So I think there's a good chance that he will be coming back to us, be it in January, or next summer (the latter is a better option IMO).

Agree completely. Against Georgia his save was miraculous and against Bulgaria I honestly thought the ball hit the crossbar until I saw the replay to realise he'd pulled another amazing save. I consider him probably the greatest gk ever.

Buffon has always been a league above all other GK. The closest GK is probably Casillas and thats mainly due to his reflexes.

you are not to familiar with sarcasm do you?

I have to say I'm not too negative about beckham returning, I like him as a player and as a man, he's a true proffesional and always gives his best! + his crosses and passing is brilliant.

on the other hand I think we need to invest in the future, becks is again a short term solution, I would prefer Hernanes in january, over beckham

i think so. I think that Pirlo can function well further up the field, and that he cold be much more consistent than Ronnie. I wanna sell Ronnie for every penny we can get in Jan.
