Oddo, officially a Milan player!

I think Alves is as at least as good as Cafu in defending, maybe even better because of his grit - which often results in some nasty, rough tackles, btw - but I agree with Jim that there should a ballance between defending and attacking and in that sense Miguel and Reveilliere are probably "better" options as they are pretty good going forward but at the same time are quite solid at the back, very solid indeed.
Still, if we were to go for Alves as a replacement for Cafu, let's just say that I won't shed a tear

What I dont get is we dont seem to be really linked to any of these guys??

i think that the best player in this post is CICINIO from réal madrid but it will be very expensive

I strongly disagree, Cicinhio is fantastic going forward and awful at defending. Im not the only one on these forums that always rated Alves higher. As time goes on more and more people will realise this.

Alves plays for Sevilla, Spain. And I also rate him higher than Cicinho.

Sorry Cab, I didnt understand your question until I read Zlatanovs answer. He is also Brazilian and quite young. Hes very good indeed.

Alves will be a great buy... if it ever happens... as is Miguel... but i don't rate Reveilliere or Cicinho highly...

Reveilliere would be good sign .. i don't think that cicinho want to change his club after just one year in real madrid .. I wouldn't mind Sorin but to me Reveilliere seems like a smarter transfer

Sorin is a left back anyway.

I love Cafu as the next man, but at this point of his carrer he cant compete with Alves or Cicinho. He is a great guy to have around, could provide some leadership and depth, but he isnt a full time starter anymore.

this is good news for oddo fans it s said that oddo is very close to milan and lazio now target za maria and diogo loan from Real

Yup, Oddo´s protracted journey from Lazio (took the man almost one year to travel to Milan from the capital, a journey one can take in a few hours by plane..he must have walked all the way..and he still isnt here yet) may soon be over...hopefully for our sake, it will be.

Maybe,just maybe, in the end we can catch Oddo,torres and diarra. and then our team woulb be complete!
