Lyon VS Milan

I agree Pippo was the right choice for the Lyon game, but everyone is being far too harsh on Gila. We are blinded by Pippo's recent hot form. Hes a great player, but players like him and Gila dont always shine in games and often seem quiet. If we think Pippo is flawless then we are just fooling ourselves. Pippo has had many quiet games for Milan too. If that wasnt the case people would have never prefered to see Tomasson partner Sheva when he was here. Crespo was quiet in many games for Milan, Van Nistelroy was quiet against Milan. If we want all out action from our strikers its not going to happen with Gila or Inzaghi. Gila didnt get a proper chance against Lyon, but did work hard for the team and does seem to hold the ball up well for Sheva to run onto.

Im not favouring either of the two strikers afterall Im a Milan fan and they both score for milan, but dont be surprised if the ball hits gila in the face, bounces in to the net and then he cant stop scoring. If we are to win the CL we need Sheva and whoever his partner is to play well. Then when one of them goes off we need the substitue striker to play just aswel when he comes on.

Having said all that, watching the first leg against Lyon screamed out for a front 3 of Kaka, Rui and Sheva, but that wont happen will it

In all this my friend, I agree 1000000%, but as long as Don Berlusconi controls our club, we will play with 2 out and out strikers...no matter what!
