We sign oliveira for about 17-2-m.euros and we didnt interest for huntelaar. He is very young and he scores for fun......but milan sign oliveira so......we can sign only one of huntelaar or torres!

Huntelaar was cup tied by the time we showed interest in getting a forward, hopefully we can make a move on him next year..

Huntelaar and Oliveira are two different types of forward ... the Dutch is more like a Pippo/Gila/Crespo type of front man, although he does have skills to create chances on his own out there.
Hext year Pippo would be what 34 yo, so if we do get Huntelaar, it would be as a future replacement for Inzaghi.

no, of course not but a team like MIlan would need more than one target striker and Huntelaar looks like the best choice out there for Pippo's replacement ... that doesn't have to mean that we would sell Pippo as he could still give us a lot with his experience even at 34-35 yo.

Remember a guy called Sobis, so many people here thought he wouldd be our new Kaka. Well he hasnt touchd the ball against Real. Cichinio has gone off with a serious looking injury too.

Unless a new George Weah or a new Van Basten comes out on the scene we dont need anyone.

This Huntelaar looks very good, but nothing suggests he is better than Gila. The way I see it if Gila starts scoring freely then we dont need someone who seems to be as good in the same role. If Gila fails then there is nothing to suggest that Huntelaar (who has a similar resume to Gila a few years ago) will succeed. But thats what our managment are there for, to make decisions like this. Personally, I hope they are right about Gila. If so all we need is a new Geroge Weah and hopefully that can be Oliveira. We will know by the end of this season though.

well, that's no longer true - I just saw him give the ball to Casillas after it went out for a goal kick

LOL I missed the pass back. Cricket is more entertaining than Cappello's teams. I decided to watch some paint dry.

yeah i agree, i think Huntelaar has the potential to be the Next Van Basten for Holland.. When inzaghi goes, i would like to see Huntelaar take his place at Milan.. that isnt saying that im pushing Gilardino out, i think the two could even play together.

The only thing about Huntelaar is that he doesn't strike me as being the quickest player. Whoever we bring in (whenever that might be) i just hope they are quite quick, enabling us to pressure defences.

Suazo springs to mind.

there's always something more than what we see at a first glance - Cagliari weren't willing to let him go as they were hoping to build on their last season team and probably fight for a spot in UEFA cup.

Also Suazo himself wasn't looking for a quick exit out of there either since he had just married a local Sardinian girl and at the same time was offered a better contract ... let's not forget that he had and has been playing for that team for 6-7 years, so it's not like Cagliari were some quick bus stop for him on his way to fame. He has his roots in that team and city and with them being willing to hold onto him, it shouldn't be a surprise that he stayed although Milan were indeed rumoured to be strongly interested in him.

The guys still 26 yo so it's not like we've missed the last train to get him. Next season we'll probably have a better chance of getting him also because, by the looks of it, Cagliari's best bet for this year is to stay in Serie A and not much more than that.
