any ways sheva might have reached the skill level of van basten , but if he wud have played for us in the 90's he cud have never played like MVB , now thats for sure...

Playmakers : Only Gullit is a world class offensive player who assisted van basten. rijkaard, ancelotti and wouters are great players but were primarily defensive and about as use to van basten as gatusso is to filipo inzaghi's chances to score.

WINGERS : Do you know how many crosses people like Roy, witcshge, donadoni deliver on an effective basis. oh about 2 in 10 matches. They were poor excuses for a winger and compared to beckham or john barnes, thet are like dida compared to lev yashin, very ordinary.

HOW I LOVE TO HAVE SEEN VAN BASTEN SERVICED BY BOBA, SAVICEVIC, PIRLO AND KAKA !

Do you know donadoni nevr crosses the ball ?.

Also strikers are over protected these days : no tackle from behind, the pass back rule and instant red cards for one-on-one fouls
