I don't know how to answer your question. I only watched the second half, and the quality wasn't good enough for me to make my judgment.

I probably would say that we are unlucky to lose, we probably don't deserve to lose. However, title-decider is supposed to be boring, and we are unlucky that when things could go either way, it is not in our favor.

And happy birthday to Franco Baresi! He probably wanted a better gift than this, but this is life.

I don't blame Collina, again. But I do blame many other suckers who helped Doper to their current positions. Doper should have trailed for 5-10 points by today, they were (shamefully) lucky that they even had a chance by today's game. Again, this is life, we will get over it. NOT TO MENTION THAT OUR HOPE IS NOT TOTALLY DEAD YET.

Right now it's so much easier to blame someone outside Milan, so:

This clown most probably cost me both the WC with Denmark (giving Greece the win against Denmark) and something that is much much worse: the Serie A title, the most important title on earth, with Milan!

This is too much for me to bear!

I know, he messed up the England-ARgentina game, but he is not incompetent. He trusts his judgement, and that's understandable.

I also tend to agree with almilan here IN TERMS OF the game between Chelsea and Barca.

It was a CLEAR foul on the goalkeeper of Barcelona. You don't block GK like that. As long as GK was blocked, then the play is stopped in favor of the GK.

But I doubt Collina saw that. (but How about the linesman??)

Hmmmm .... lots of things to discuss but most points have already been covered. Our team has been playing a lot of games and we do have a squad instead of a starting 11 only.

1. It didn't help matters that the same starting 11 is persisted for 5 games and the effects are now quite ripe. We should've rotated more and used our squad before this thing happened. Juve have a very clear edge and with so little games to go, it is their Scudetto to lose rather than our Scudetto to win. It will take a miracle for us to win it. We should however not totally give up on it and use our squad for the remaining games giving rest to our key men on the pitch and rotating them in order to have them fully rested for the final on the 25th.

2. Pirlo and Seedorf have been two players who have been holding our midfield together and brilliantly so but they are in a rough patch right now. Pirlo's return from injury hasn't helped while Seedorf has been playing too many games. I felt that Gattuso didn't play well at all and has been asking to be benched based on his performance. The most tired players are: Pirlo, Seedorf, Gattuso, Sheva, Nesta, Stam and Kaka.

Cafu is really still trying but he will eventually break down if not rested. That is the core of our side and all this dip in form and play is coming from that.

3. In the first half we didn't bother to play football and just knocked the ball about with no intent. It was like killing time when you have a 3-0 lead. Trezeguet's goal didn't wake us up properly till the last 5 mins of the first half. It was lethargic and lazy on our part and I will put the blame on our team for giving Juve that confidence that they could match us. That first half really did set the tone for Juve to feel that they could get something here.

4. Our second half has always been better and it was better today except that our second half is normally like our first half and we improve furthermore in the second half. Inzaghi did come after a long lay-off but two chances by him were golden. On another day perhaps they both would've gone in. He wasted them or shall I say didn't make the most of them. Sheva's finishing was below par as well and he is a part of the tired player group. He is barely running in the last 3 games. Not like him.

5. Kaka was still trying a whole lot more but he was trying to go through an organized defensive team and when they gang up they make sure you can't get past so he did lose possession a few times. Rui coming on did spark something into us and gave us hope.

6. We've lost two on the trot and this is a bad patch for us. It is a bad moment. I think the players were also concentrated on the final. Galliani said that the title chase is vital but the Champions League is more important for the team. I personally think that when you make a statement like this on the eve of an important clash then the players' concentration can go down as they know where the priorities lie.

7. We can't give up hope on the Scudetto. After all it is a see-saw campaign and you never know what can happen. What we can do and should do is make the fringe players play and try to win the remaining games keeping that pressure up on Juve to win their remaining games. We have a deep enough squad and even though our last 3 games are tougher on paper with two away games as well, we have to try. On the current situation obviously the big final in Istanbul is the all-important game now and we have to plan it out for that game. That was always the priority so we can't let that one slip after a wonderful season.

8. We could've and should've done better with today's game. We had the squad, the team and the home advantage to make sure we could deal with it but left it too late. The first 45 mins display left a lot to be desired. Whenever a team loses there can be a million excuses for that loss but what is done is done now. Congratulations to Juve on their win. We have to try in the Serie A and focus everything on Istanbul. I don't know if it can be taken as a good thing but we didn't score a goal for the first time since January 26, 2005. We had scored in every single game before that so that run has come to an end. We have to turn the page and start afresh now.

With liverpool also losing today 3-1 to Arsenal, the CL final seems to be destined for two great teams which both lost today.

Collina is just like all the other refs- he makes many blatant mistakes.he just seems to be very confident in himself which is how he gets away with it.

We lost it today in the first half.Our second half show was pretty good which tells me that our fitness levels are actually high.We are low on confidence not fitness.Too many players underperformed in the first half-JDT,Seedorf,gattuso,the defence in fact most of the team!I still think Ancellotti could be more offensive and that would help.Its still not over so we can still hope and we now have a full week to recouperate and practice in training.

Carlo Ancelotti and his Milan stars are not about to give up on the Scudetto, even after their home defeat to Juventus.

“We played well and were penalised by one incident,” explained the Coach after the 1-0 loss. “I have nothing to reprimand my players for. There are three games left and anything can still happen, but I can assure you we won’t lay down our arms yet.”


The Bianconeri opened up a three-point gap at the top of the table thanks to David Trezeguet’s goal, sealing their first win at the San Siro since 1996-97.


“We did everything we could to get back into the game and went close with a great second half performance. We didn’t start terribly well,” conceded Ancelotti, “but after the break pinned Juve back into their own half. A draw would’ve been a deserved result.”


Ancelotti surprised many with his tactics, not least sticking with Clarence Seedorf instead of Massimo Ambrosini in midfield.


“I wanted to use our quality and take control of the game,” he explained. “Andrea Pirlo and several others are a little tired at this stage of the season, but that is understandable.”


Pippo Inzaghi made his comeback and immediately showed he was in promising form, having Milan’s best chances throughout the second half.


“Before anything else, I must say that it is great to finally be fit again,” said the former Juve striker who has barely played at a consistent level over the last two years.


“Clearly, to score a goal would’ve been the ultimate high, but Gigi Buffon and Gianluca Zambrotta did some fantastic saves. Anything can still happen, plus we have the Champions’ League Final against Liverpool to look forward to.”


There was controversy in this tie, as Marcos Cafu appeared to be held back by Zambrotta and many of the Milan stars suggest it was a penalty.


“He held my shirt and I believe it was a spot-kick,” said the Brazilian. “Pierluigi Collina did not award it, so that’s the end of the matter. I also think that Fabio Cannavaro’s handling offence could’ve been punished with a penalty. In any case, I don’t believe we deserved to lose this match, especially after our second half performance.”


Andriy Shevchenko was surprisingly quiet today and looked ahead to the rest of the campaign, as there are still nine points up for grabs.


“Juventus did well to hang on to their lead and deserve to be complimented for such a tough performance,” said the Ukrainian. “It was an entertaining game and we are satisfied despite being left empty-handed. We have faith that Juve can still drop points, but then again so can we, so all we can do is give it our best.”


Juventus have announced they'll continue their Press Silence until the end of the season.

and for a moment i thought collina was different to other referees .. there were atleast 2 penalty kicks for us in that match, cannavaro is a thug, infact even if hes a good player hes just as horrible as materazzi, fookin punk!!! ... the way he treated shevchenko in crosses shows that he knows perfectly well that he needs to cheat so he can beat him, a normal collina wouldve seen that. thats not just it, what about the shirt pulling by zambrotta on cafu, i used to think that zambrotta is a clean player but ive seen him act dirty more than once this season, whats worse about this incident is that the linesman had a perfect view of what happened, maybe cafu should stop smiling alot, hes always the victim but refs usually believe its a dive!!! and what about that handball on canna after cafu had a shot at goal??? his arm was raised and it wasnt attached to his body... if it was so then by the rules it wont count by it wasnt the case and we shouldve had a penalty ...

dirty dirty team, every time we attack they commit a foul, players like zambrotta and canna deserved red, but for once i gotta admit del piero played well

players that shouldve had some rest are: cafu, stam, nesta, seedorf, gattuso, sheva

gattuso was horrible today, ambro has been in fine form he shouldve started, seedrof shouldve been subbed by serginho early on and rui couldve played in pirlos position!
