from tgcom, with bad translation, comments from Oliveira's agent (and ronaldinho's brother/agent):

"Meanwhile we close for Ricardo - he said - then the other thing. And 'a delicate operation, serves time, is necessary to go slow slow slow. The Milan? And 'one of the largest club of the world, in Brazil is always very I continue ". Oliveira, therefore, has been the prelude of the other one to deal, the true one, the dream from the patron Berlusconi. The fans rossoneri arms itself of patience: this time really could be worth it the trouble.

In response to someone earlier who said that "Why would they sell a player who is so good ?" So now you're telling me that whenever a player is sold to another club that makes him bad ? What about Zidane.. Ronaldo..Henry.. all those players who have switched clubs over the years. Because Juve sold Henry(just an example) that says that he's not good enough for Milan ? Because you'd consider him to be another team's "trash" ?

I never think ACM should get a player who isn't good enough to play for his national team. Now, when Ronaldo retires, oliveira will be on of the there-abouts for selection. Maybe and hopefully he will develop in Milan to make it to Brazil NT.

That is rubbish. Chelsea have never ever tracked him. They only got in when we were officially in talks. When everywhere is talking about us getting kaka, only then Chelsea try to take a shortcut by going after the player we were interested. That's all, Chelsea didn't look at Kaka before that. Also, FYI, Milan was already tracking at Kaka 2 years before we signed him. None of the european teams are even slightly interested and we were already looking at him. In facts there were already rumours of him arriving 1.5 years before we actually sign him. So nobody even know a sh*t about Kaka when we were tracking him so does it mean he isn't good? There wasn't even any other major clubs linked with him before we go after him and juve was even laughing at his name so does that mean he isn't good?

This whole thing about hype=good, no. of clubs linked with=how good are all nothing but nonsense. I would only judge the player based on his performances for us. Oliveira has got quite a record and i hope he does play well for us.

I don't agree with that. If we want to become big then we need to get players with potential and attitude, those who are just looking to spend big money on hyped up players are going to lose out.

For the life of me I can't see what seems to be our problem with spending on players we NEED Ronaldo was one of them so was Sobis, so was Diarra and so is gallas.

Manchester United with their in-debt owner have bought Carrick and are hot on the heels of Tevez

What pisses me off the most is that Real Madrid is getting Chivu- a player that we wanted for years
You just mentioned "NEED" and then you are talking about players like ronaldo...He is not a need but a player good to have, that's all.

Diarra is a luxury IMO, we don't really need him but i would love to see him here.

Sorbis is not a need but a player worth a try.

Gallas is the only player in your list that we truely need. I am not worried about the other position but defence is of the upmost concern given the number of players we have that are past their prime. Maldini would be gone this season, Billy is already a horror. Cafu and serginho are still fine but i am not sure how long they would be around. We are really in need of defenders or wing backs.

There were better and safer options such as Luca toni ronaldo etc. But his here now so we may as well give him a chance if he is not injured the whole season. Getting an additional established striker would make me and most people happy but not just oliveira please.
Please, Luca Toni and Ronaldo are certainly not better options. I would prefer Suazo to all of them. In fact, i do want him here even above Torres, Tevez. I am not too happy that we didn't get him for one reason or another.

Of course Ronaldinho would simply be THE GREAT TRANSFER, but it's an affair that certainly will require lots of time till it's conclusion, and we have only a few miserable days to tie up all deals.

I am sure he is not talking about you. Do we really have to mention names? I believe he is talking about the usual gang and you do know who they are, don't you?

I was the person who said that and i think you've jumped the gun a bit there. All i was pointing out was if he was as good as being made out by his fans here that it seems a bit odd for him to have been sold so quickly twice in a row. Don't you think one of Valencia and/or Betis would have kept him longer than the 1 & 2 seasons they had him respectively for ? Does that make him a bad player ? No. Did i say he was a bad player ? No. So anything else you've devised from my post on this particular point you did so under your own muddled conclusions.

Who's been saying hype is a good thing ? I don't remember anyone saying that. Nor do i remember saying that the number of clubs a player is linked with has a direct relationship with how good that player is or is a good measure of the quality of the player. What i said was that there have been alot of clubs looking at or buying strikers this summer and you'd think one or two of them would have been linked with this "excellent consistent goal scorer".

This is an excellent point and one we should all do but sadly we don't. We all believe that various players will do better or worse for our team than others, i do it, you do it, Rick does it, Zlatanov does it, Gre-no-li, mrki, etc, etc .... the anti-Oliveira people (whoever they might be) do it and the pro-Oliveira people do it. It's just one of those things.
