ok, I will trust you for now, but if we don't retain the 4th spot in the league, and don't win the CL trophy again - you are to blame

Gio - I dont see why no one here agrees with you.. I do. I think Amauri put it an absolute world-class performance performance with all those small touches. He was always crowded between 2-3 and sometimes 4 Milan players and always managed to make a magic touch and send the ball exactly where he wants it to be. He was absolutely perfect tonight, 10/10. A striker doesn't have to score goals, he played for the team and did absolutely brilliant. Also how he tried to win a penalty at the death was as if he was an experienced striker playing for years in a big club, that was so intelligent and he did it so well.

Yep. Match after match recently, Oddo improve become much better. Strong physically, tough in marking, good running forward, and in progress to deliver accurate passed (hehe..)
Jankulovski just has problem in lack of physical fitness. Against Palermo last night, he was substituted by Favalli around 85', I guess caused his endurance dropped.

With some physical exercise, both of them will be back to top condition

Pippo really could change the game in just few minutes.i was trying to accepted 1-1 result when he was coming for rescued the game.really.. lucky to have him.Kalac didn't had many to do as the game with Arsenal.the goal wasn't his fault anyway.i think it was Gattuso who got the ball cut of by Bresciano and Kalac couldn't worked it as the position was difficult as hell.but he did made a good saved as Amauri beaten by him in the last minutes before last whistle.and i wasn't expecting that Oddo will be able to pass the ball but he did!! what a great ball by him for Max and made it a beautiful goal.even with the 1st goal that Bresciano had Oddo couldn't do anything about that.difficult position there.Amauri was superb last night but one man should get a credit for that, he is Bonera.Bonera was solid in defence and marked perfectly Amauri so he couldn't be danger anymore (what do i expect anymore as the man is the most danger man at that game ). Janku was good also.he helped the attack and defence.he missed brilliant oppurtunity somehow in the end of the 1st half as he sent a half volley clear over the crossbar from 10 yards away.but he did cut the low crossed from Amauri which is also danger.Gattuso always runs like he never got tired, aye mate?!! he really had a good game there.he faught with every mid there. great game Bull!Pirlo's wasn't playing bad but not as good as his best either.and referee did nothing for that handball? Pirlo standed over the ball and whiped in a cross that comes off Miggliaccio's arm but no penalty is given and Max?? MOM for this game the goal is superb! and he couple times shot on target.really on his best performance..keep it up Max!! as for Kaka.. Palermo's players made tight marking for him.and i am glad that he was replacing by Gorky there.Kaka should be keeps for the game in San Siro against Gunners coz that game is about do or die game ! Gilardino? well.. after a game Udinese-Genoa i doubt that he could keeps his place in Milan.Boriello could comeback anytime when Galliani asks him.and in this game he was invisible.i still hope more for him.c'mon Gila. Pato? absolutely still not his best performance..he marked tightly also by Biava i think.but he looked slow and lacked of concentration there.hope soon he'll be back to his best.as for subs: Gourcuff was playing a better game than Kaka in this game.created some attacks and was mobile enough to go forward.but did many mistakes which is almost cost us a goal.i remember he "gave" us a job to handle free kick for Palermo which was taken by Amauri in a danger area.Pippooooooooooooooooo is superb!!!! saved our day... made us reaching 4th place!!! grazie Pippo this player is CLASS!he always ready even in the bench or in the field (despite the injuries days that he had).and Favalli just played 6 minutes replacing Janku so couldn't do something important there.

but at least we are in 4th place now! guys... prepare for the next game FORZA MILAN

We need a goal scoring machine for next season, as our midfield don't get in the box enough for a player like Amauri to be that effective. He would be good to carry the forward line, but he's not good enough in the box. Unless Pato starts a mad run of goals before season's end, then Amauri shouldn't be considered as an option. Drogba would be great, but Benezma would be brilliant, but we do need more options in midfield, and better options in wide defence.

Agreed. The team seemed completely ran out of ideas at the 2nd half, we played like some mediocre old-fashioned English team with long balls. But winning such an important match in the dying minutes, proves that the team has the right attitude.

The only thing World Class about Amauri is his agent. His hold up play is good but he doesn't score enough goals. For the price being quoted Palermo are taking the piss. We could get Drogba or Crouch for less and they're miles better.

Yes, what we need now is a lethal striker.

Gila can do the hold-up ball quite well, Pato is able to with his skill, he just need more confidence.

A difficult game in which we obtained a very important result. Palermo defended with 9 men, so getting the result was not easy, especially when the referee is ignoring clear penalties and our players are getting fouled every time we attack.

That said, we did well in the first half after a bad start. We didn't do well on the Palermo goal, which Bresciano did well on, but our response was immediate and we pressed the Palermo side very well. Ambro's goal was well taken and really seemed a case of when it would come rather than if.

The second half wasn't as positive, as we struggled to break down the Palermo defence which was resolute. The problem seemed to be that we didn't have the same direction as the first half, where we seemed more assured as to how we wanted to attack. Players spent far too long on the ball and building attacks and Gourcuff couldn't influence the game as well as Kaka. That said, Pippo and Gourcuff did leave their mark and the victory was assured.

Players..

Kalac: Had nothing to do
Oddo: Seems to have improved in the last 2 games I've seen since I saw him before (back in mid Jan). That said his crossing was atrocious except on the first goal.
Bonera: Solid
Kaladze: Solid
Janku: Seems to be recovering and like Oddo was solid, but with poor crosses
Pirlo: His passing was below his usual standards
Gattuso: Struggled when attacking with Oddo down the right, often slowing the game
Ambro: Solid and did well on the goal, a good performance
Kaka: Unfortunate to get injured again, hopefully he can recover soon
Gourcuff: Struggled for the most part, and seemed lost as to what to do, but superb assist for Pippo
Pato: Flashes of brilliance but struggled with so many defenders and lack of options
Gila: Like Pato, struggled with defenders and lack of support
Favalli: little impact
Pippo: Super Pippo, a goal that is important both for result and confidence!

We didn't play a bad game on the whole, but the problems are same as always with slow build up play and lack of quality coming from wide areas. With our fitness problems and tough schedule, we really need to work hard to get results, so we could see a few games like this.

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
