The sale of Kaka had nothing to do with his injury or anything, it was b/c of money.
Why he would want to cash in, when he's a third richest person in Italy?

No-one is saying that Kaka's transfer wasn't about the money, but for the club to keep "positive zero", not for Berlusconi. And I'm sure that BIG part in it was Kaka's big drop in form, as well as injuries.

Similar thing was with Shevchenko. I don't know how nobody mentioned his drop of form in 2005/2006 season when he left, because as far as I can recall that season he wasn't near the player he was before, especially in the big games, which was always his speciality. Perhaps he never recovered from the loss against Liverpool.

Don't worry, our management doesn't hate this club, after all this management took the club when it was nowhere near the top in Italy and made it the most successful football club on the big stage in the last 20 years.

If injury was the only reason we sold Kaka and Shevchenko, then explain why we spent nothing on the market to replace them. If we didn't want the money, then we shouldn't have signed nobody but Huntelaar this summer or cheaped out on Ibrahimovic.

Ibrahimovic is a show pony... not a big match player...

No mate, money was the issue in both transfers, but not the only issue.

See, Berlusconi doesn't want to invest big money in Milan because his family is pressing him and because he lost interest in Milan a little bit since he's a prime minister. When Calciopolli happened we were punished with 60 M euros, just punishment of FIGC, I'm not taking other losses into account (marketing, tickets, etc.) so we had to sell to get to "positive zero".

Although Shevchenko was scoring goals in 2005/2006, every Milan fan has to admit that he wasn't the same since Liverpool loss. He was always giving his best in the big games, but he was owned by Puyol in CL semi-finals that year. He scored a goal that was incorrectly ruled out, yes, but that wasn't it. His failure in Chelsea explains it, he didn't flopped at Chelsea by accident.

As for Kaka, I've told everything in one of my recent posts, I will just add that we didn't bought a replacement because Leonardo was up to switch to 4-3-3, which perfectly suits both Ronaldinho and Pato and not a player like Kaka. We needed a CF for 4-3-3 and we still need it.

Well, the thing is that, the sale of Sheva and Kaka were more or less about money instead of injury. I mean, if it is about injury then Nesta should have been sold long time ago. It is easy to say that, the MGT made the right decision by selling Kaka and Sheva while keeping Nesta at this moment due to their current play and form.
Fact is, the more you think about it, a successful transfer(esp those on strikers and attacking players) weight heavily on the system their new team plays. For example, you rarely see a GK or CB struggle from switching one team to the next b/c nomatter how different the system, their roles are more or less the same. But the same cannot be said about an attacking player. Right now, I think Rooney is probably the most in form striker in the world, but if you put him at Borri's role, he will struggle big time. Does that mean Borri is a better striker than Rooney?
Point is, when Sheva was at Milan, he was the main target on the field and Kaka was supporting him. While Sheva might not be scoring as many goals as before he was getting many touches and creating space for Kaka or Gila to score. While at Chelsea, the main target man is Drogba and Sheva was force to play more on the wing due to JM system, something that Sheva was not familiar with. And by the time he came back to Milan, he lost all the form and confidence of a striker.
Same goes for Kaka, he was the heart and engine of Milan and every players play off him. While at Real, every players seem to play for themselves. On top of that, CR9 is the focal point while Kaka is the second option. Before his injury, Real was actually playing more like a team with Kaka.
One last comment about Leo's 4-3-3. Well, when Leo first came in, he actually wanted to play a 4-3-1-2 but DInho just could not get the job done in the middle.

Important!

Sorry guys, but I have been busy in my studies for a while now....

But here is some great news! Even if Berlu doesn't leave or sell a higher stake of his club, atleast we got the money! This extra cash will allow us to spend more in transfers.

Please read my previous post as well, but this is in some ways bad news.... It will not help Serie A and Milan at all I guess.

Gabriel, yes, Leo wanted to play 4-3-1-2, but the "1" was sold so everything went to hell. But 4-3-3 was played simply coz that is the only position that Dinho can play when he is sober...

NEWS:

Milan signed the deal with Emirates as it was announced months ago. Some news say its not only about 15mln per year but also about some more money Sheik will insert in MIlans mercato to eventually take over 40% of the club. Couldnt agree more

Also, Dzeko is no.1 target as we all know, but as Ihear from some posters who follow italian papers and forums regulary, the analisys say Milan never went for Jovanovic and Krasic, its about papers tirage.

Milan will sell Huntelaar, Kaladze, Jankulovski ( wants to go and play in eastern clubs ) and maybe Flamini if he fails to proove himself under Leo ( I doubt he will be sold ). Favalli will stay and work in the club , and Dida will leave Milan coz of the contract and Pippo is also likely to leave for some club that will play UEFA cup so he can continue his search for UEFA goals...

So, for the midfield the palyer LEo really wants is Hernanes, to play in front of 2 DM's. Seedorf to be used lightly. Also Milan will work on fullback situation.

On other stuff:

Inter's Oriali already went to L'pool and talked about Gerrard, who really looks like he could be sold. That would be devastating if Gerrard played for merda. Also they are in contact with Fabregas, basicaly wanting another quality CM next to Sneijder.

Juve announced 50mln mercato in the summer. We never talked about Candreva in here, but I think they have something good in that player. What do you say?

Roma beaten Udinese 2:0 in coppa. Roma are doing well and we should string some wins now and not slip and complicate our situation more.

Also, yes, Vidic may leave United, but to me it looks impossible beating Real for players like Ribery, Vidic... Barca "signed" Fabregas for 45mln, etc., etc. Sick money in today's football. The more I watch it the more disgusted I get!

i also think that all the guys u listed will leave, and i would add Oddo & Onyewu to the list but obviously would not want Flamini to go.

Gerard to Inter would be awful and although the rumours are the strongest so far that he will leave this summer, i think he won't, he will finish his career at Liverpool.

i really doubt they can get Fabregas too...surely Barca won't allow it...

as for Vidic, and judging on quality alone, any team would love to have him, but he'll be 29 next season, needs a definite starting place AND will cost huge money...i think a Bonucci would be a much better choice for us.

Hernanes i think has been Leo's choice since like 3 yrs now, so i agree he is probably top of his list

as for Candreva...here's what i posted when Juve signed him:
"and Candreva to Juve...shame for us "
i really like this guy and i wish we had tried for him...

New sponsor new money thats good , Dzeko arriving hopefully. As for Gerrard going to Inter this would be bad business how much will he cost 30 - 40 million thats alot of money for a guy who is a bit overrated a greatr player but overhyped and he is 30 in May can anyone justify paying huge money and a fat contract for a 30 year old.

Just read the article on goal.com about the TV rights for Prem=1billion pounds....and each team can get 50mil pounds/season....
If that is true, there is no way any clubs in Italy can compete with them. As 50mil pounds=roughly 70mil euros for just being part of the league. Heck, if I have money, I will start buy a division I side and invest 40mil in order for promotion, then once there all i need to do is make sure the team stays in the Prem by doing it Moggi style, like asking Arsenal and ManU for their youngsters and in return let them win easy against my team and I will be screaming SHOW ME THE MONEY.

If it's a main sponsor then the whole of 60 mil is not new money. It's replacing the current main sponsor?

AlMaktoum (Dubai) isn't as rich as AlNahyan (Abu Dhabi - Man City), btw. They're having lots and lots of problems right now, and they can't (I don't think) buy the club and spend like crazy.

I don't think this is to replace bwin, is it? It seems like a separate deal. I don't read anywhere that it's a new shirt sponsor. We'll probably have to play a winter game in Dubai every year, maybe that's part of the deal.
