I remember someone making fun of B&G at a different forum, it is something about we are getting cheaper and cheaper, from getting players for free, to getting players to play for free (already happening with Onyewu), and maybe eventually getting players pay to play for Milan.

Hernanes looks so good. I wish that Brasileiro is here to tell us how true Hernanes to Lazio rumor is and if we still have a shot at him.

a crazy thought: if we are still owed money for Oliveira (by Real Zaragoza) who is now in Sao Paolo, can we somehow work out a deal getting Hernanes? Rumors said that Hernanes to Lazio isn't 100 percent as there are some other teams with higher bid. Can that be us?

Leichsteiner is a probably the best full back available that we can probably afford + he is EU and knows Serie A
i think our management can argue with Lazio that they actually owe us for taking Oddo & Favalli off their hands and ask to get him for free

I am not the expert on pricing football players, but i think Ajax has the ability to hold on for 20Mio for Van Der Wiel especially with all the rumoured interest in the guy by top clubs and the fact that there are not too many good full backs available.
As for Poli, i think a 15Mio offer should be enough and given that we cannot afford to pay that, maybe Sampdoria is the best candidate to offload our useless players to because they can offer CL football and would Champions with CL experience. So offer them Oddo, Kaladze, Jankuloski, Gattuso and some cash and i do not think they can say no to that. Of course then we'll have to see what excuse our champs will have to give to refuse a transfer to a CL team.

I hope we can still sell Ronaldinho and replace him with a central playmaker, so we can play with 2 strikers. Ganso for example!

Actually he's not EU, but he is already in Serie A so it won't count as non-EU signing.

In case things aren't clear enough for all the journalists out there, I will take the liberty of exposing it to the whole world: AC Milan does NOT have a transfer budget! The team's objective during the mercato is to MAKE MONEY, not spend money!

latest reports (gazzetta dello sport) say Ronaldinho could leave and would be replaced by Robinho.

I actually like Robinho, I really think he could make it here, so I'm all in for this one!
