MILAN – Here are the 22 players that Carlo Ancelotti has called up for tomorrow’s third preliminary round game against Red Star Belgrade:

Dida (1), Coppola (78), Kalac (16); Cafu (2), Costacurta (5), Favalli (19), Jankulovski (18), Simic (17); Ambrosini (23), Brocchi (32), Foggia (83), Gattuso (8), Gourcuff (20), Kakà (22), Pirlo (21), Seedorf (10), Serginho (27), Vogel (14); Amoroso (37), Borriello (12), Inzaghi (9), Gilardino (11)

The numbers in parenthesis indicate the jersey numbers that are valid for the first and second leg of the Champions League preliminaries.

The players I have in bold for me represent the players that hopefully will make the difference..I havent chosen any of the defenders, simply because I cannot be certain of who will start, and where in the back 4 they will play.

That being said: I count on Favalli and hopefully Simic/Billy playing at CB, with Marek and Brocci on the flanks...Serghino is listed as a midfielder, though he could start at LB...but I doubt it.

FORZA MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILAN!!! Lets get a 3 goal cushion for the away game!!

I think the starting lineup will be:

Dida
Brocchi(R) Favalli Simic Janku(L)

Pirlo
Seedorf(L) Gattuso(R)
Kaka

Gila Inzaghi

--- no problems in midfield and up front. Defense is a bit of a concern.
If Costacurta starts, I don't see him lasting the entire game - which
means 1 sub used already. I do think there is a good possibility that
Serginho will start at LB since Ancelotti didn't seem to put too much
trust in Janku last year. Serginho was a defensive liability last year.

Disappointing that Bonera won't be able to play in the 2nd leg.

I think Kaka, Pirlo, Gattuso, and Favalli will be the leaders.
(Not that Favalli is great, but it's his first game at Milan and he wants a good
showing)

For those with Sopcast, the game will also be on SLT 1 - though you may have to keep checking about a half hour before the match. Also, for those who don't have it, here is english commentary for Milan matches (not sure if it still works/will be on though).

I cannot expect a "great" game from Milan at this point in the season...honestly, I would be satisfied with a win, by any means necessary.

Its also intresting to note that I couldnt find any info, and I mean any info whatsoever about our match today on uefa.com...

Bonera is only suspended for the 1st leg... he would be available for the 2nd leg...
