heheh. probably is. i do see cassano being happier at milan though - he will have more respect, and be under the wing of some Italian soccer legends like
Ancelotti, Maldini, Baresi, Tassotti and some young superstars he can relate to like Kaka. He just seems to need some guidance and capello said the same thing. capello told him not to hang around totti so much.

Gattusso lectures Cassano

Roma insist Antonio Cassano’s training ground walk-out was planned, while Gennaro Gattuso and Nils Liedholm give their view on the controversial starlet.

“Unfortunately,” noted Italy teammate Gattuso, “Antonio has to learn when to control himself and I ran him up to give him some advice. If he learned to use his brain occasionally, then he wouldn’t make these mistakes.”

Marcello Lippi’s decision to leave him out of the Azzurri squad for this week’s World Cup qualifiers focused even more attention on the wayward Cassano.

Red cards and training ground walk-outs have already characterised his season and yesterday afternoon it was reported he had stormed off the field during a friendly game against local side Tivoli.

However, both Roma’s press officer and Coach Gigi Del Neri later insisted that his substitution was pre-planned for the 57th minute of the match. On-lookers claimed that the replacement was not ready until a few moments after Cassano had left the field.

Former Roma legend Nils Liedholm also commented on the chaos surrounding his old club.

“Cassano is a modern Garrincha,” announced the Swede on his 82nd birthday, “while Francesco Totti is more like me. I tell the Giallorossi fans to relax, as with these two upfront they can win plenty of trophies.”

Whether Cassano will stay in a Roma jersey remains to be seen, as Milan and Juventus have both publicly confirmed their willingness to take on the rebellious youngster.

cassano aint just good like a lot of players, he has the potential to be absolutely outstanding, as in the next Baggio. he needs to sort the attitude and personally i agree with Lippi that he should move, a new club and home would the perfect way for him to go "right i have to grow up and take this seriously" there is to much bad history at roma and it's a pretty volatile club, sensi being a total maniac. if he does move it won't be cheap but it won't be huge either if they his best days won't be in a roma shirt and i honestly would worry if juve signed him maschereno, diego, tevez, hleb these are all possibly men, potentially great players but likely just very good ones. Cassano is an amazing talent. I hope we do go for him if he is sold.

Cassano is a support striker. If it weren't for his questionable character, I'd be drooling at the thought of Shevchenko-Cassano with Kaká behind them. Now that's a tridente!

I would love to see Cassano play for Milan, he is a very good player, but we already have a "Jack in the box" by Gennaro Gattuso and thinking of those two in one team makes me ask for an ER in San Siro....

i agree, cassano is a striker, a baggio like for his characteristics and his position and IMO not a trequartista, because he's much more lethal inside the box than a trequartista, like , for ex. Kakà. His accuracy inside the box is awesome. IMO he's an atypical player anyway, it's hard to insert him into a chategory.

Imo Kakà behind Sheva and Cassano as a support. Roma played awesome football without a striker but just two players like Totti and Cassano. We would have Sheva supported by two genious like Ricardo and Antonio. Sounds amazing if you ask me.

ACMILAN1983 will become famous soon enough
The prospect of Cassano at Milan is good and bad.

Talent wise there is no questioning his ability, but attitude needs more than just a little work.

Ancelotti says that he believes at Milan Cassano will become much more mature and that the attitude problems will be solved.

If he can do this, then I say get Cassano, but only if it can be done

cassano has the potential and such,
and for those of u who called him spoiled i will have to contradict u. some1 spoiled is usually quite rich; now please recall that cassano did not grow up in the best inviorment,
his family was poor, his parents were criminals........... so what do u expect from a kid who grows in such an inviorment,
and for u who compared his temper to zlatan ibrahimovic, it is a completely different thing!!!! zlatan just has a bad attitude, naturally. while cassano has a bad attitude due to a bad childhood.

anyway, if we can control him then i can only say on thing: " silvio(berlusconi) take out ur wallet and buy him!!!!!!"

Sorry but this is complete bull**** imho. Not spoiled?? We're talking about someone who is making loads of money and all he can do is act like he is a little kid. Especially for someone with his background he should realize how lucky he is in his position cuz I don't expect many of his old 'homies in da hood' have the same chances he has with his talent.

And Ibrahimovic has misbehaved on the pitch in the sence that he would use his ellows if he felt defenders were too much on his back. I don't want to compare him with San Marco but he also used to do that. The fact that Ibrahimovic is not respect in Sweden already got through here in Holland. Let's jst say that Nedved is also not appreciated in Chezch to make another comparison. I've never seen Ibrahimovic pull off the same **** Cassano does.

On the other hand Cassano should be tought the hard way what his place is. I have to get back on my post in a diff topic cuz actually that sounds like something the current Milan squad is perfectly capable of. We have enough players who've actually achieved or won something instead of all these wanabe topplayers at Roma (Totti and Cassano included). The boy has talent all he needs to do is grow up or become another Anelka. I guess if he were shouting 'I can't believe ur a Milan player' at Gattuso he would get what is coming to him soon enough .

A big pile of BS if I ever saw it. To even come with claims that one is naturally bad in his attitude is silly enough, especially when you know pityfully little about the person themself. But Zlatan isn't as bad as Cassano, he hasn't stormed out from the training field nor left the arena as soon as he is taken off.

i can think of so many other players who came from bad / poor backgrounds who don't act like whiney little runts when things don't go his way. he is far from a professional. to complain on being substituted is just poor sportsmanship.
maradona didn't come from a good background but at least ON the field he was a professional. off the field he was disturbed.

I agree..
IMO Zlatan did that due to his professional matters. but Cassano did that because he is a natural born bad-boy.
Obviously Ibrahimovish is easier to handle instead of Cassano.

btw my fav bad-boy in football history was Cantona.
