TOMASSON OUT INJURED
Jon Dahl Tomasson has dropped out of the squad for Udine, having picked an injury to his left adductor muscle this morning. The striker's position has been taken by youth team defender Bloudek.

He is a youth team player.

a win here will be very positive for the players and give them a nice boost of morale. it's definitely something they need bigtime. as far as the season is concerned, it is more than a friendly for stat addicts it will add to the number of points gained in the season for the record books so it won't look like Juve ran away with the title! 5 points of even 2 points difference between 1st and 2nd will look better than an 8 point lead by Juve.

...though thick and thin anyway.

I hope the players pick themselves up and close the season off well.

I would have played the same 11 as started the CL FInal last week as a show of confidence in them.Given that many are absent from the squad that will not be the case.I also think that we have a responsibility to Sampdoria to play our strongest team. really do hope for a victory.kaka's younger brother is listed as a defender-so i guess he is a defender.

On the other hand, Bloudek is listed as a midfielder, acmilan.com says he's a defender, and he's replacing a striker. Maybe we'll see on Sunday.

it's funny how ancelotti said, in the pre-match press conference, how they will not lose the lead against udinese if they get it haha. that was so tongue in cheek.

Agains Udinese

We will play well against Udinese and like someone has already pointed out, we need to acquit ourselves with utmost professionalism.

I must say the past few days have made me proud to be a Milan fan. Our attitude after the game was fantastic and that is some consolation in a football world riddled with bitter post-match tirades.

On a side note, Galliani said about Gilardino: "We respect Parma so we will not talk about him until after the season."

This coy response indicates to me that we are probably in pole position to sign the explosive striker.

Indeed. If humour will get us out of this mental rut then so be it.

if there's a pungent remark if there ever was one, it's what Carlo Ancelotti said. It drips of regret, bitterness and one can almost taste the acidity of his comment.
