they don't really have much of a choice here unless they would want to lose 10-15 mil euros for one season only, something a cash-strapped club like Roma cannot afford. In his place they could immediately bring in another player, who at least will be giving his best for Roma.

I still think Pippo will come back this season. This should not however stop us from having a 5th striker on hand, but to assume that Milan would spend 10m on a 5th striker is somewhat halucinatory. Either bring a junior up from the youth team or get someone decent, but cheap, who would understand their role a squad player. Milan Baros or Micheal Owen are not that player.

I believe the only good thing Baros has going on for him is that he has a really cool name

Not Milan type talent... we have gotten other players who are, let's say, just good, maybe not well known, and then become world class cracks like Sheva or Kaka'... I think we could find that in some other player...

I'd pick DiVaio over Baros or Cassano. I don't think Milan would push for Cassano as much as already done for Gila... Gila and Sheva, and a renewed Vieri will give us good things... best wishes for Pippo's recovery... 5th Striker? Tomasso Rocchi or Di Michele

As far as I know, Baros has joined Aston Villa, so him coming to Milan is out of the question. Good for him and good for us.

prob is he's very lazy, and i know for a fact that he does not like italian teams.. i dont see this as a possibility..

maybe we should bring boriello, henrik is right, we should not pay more than 5m euro for a 5th striker, that would be just ridiculous..

and our transfer market has not yet closed right? does anyone think we'll sign someone right at the transfer deadline?

I think a RB or a midfielder, or both.

We were targetting Emre and Cicinho. We lost Emre and the latter's deal to Man Utd is just waiting for some documents to be ready.

That means the board have been thinking of a RB and a midfielder.

I guess we'll get Oddo.. And some midfielder who is content with the bench. Dhorasoo shouldnt have left

The best thing for Milan would be if Inzaghi could return to full fitness and play like he did before. I'm not a fan of Baros so I hope we have better options if the return of Inzaghi is further delayed.

Maybe Berlusconi and Galliani has an ace up their sleeve to pull out on the last day of the transfer window. Cassano? Owen? Podolski?

Or maybe we should give chances to our young strikers like Ardemagni and Weah jr.?

Agreed.

Baros is preparing a transfer to another EPL team.

I prefer Di Vaio, but I will wait which that will be better player for Milan.

Di Vaio would be great, as he probably doesn't mind starting from the bench, and he could offer valuable help that is needed, in the supporting role.

Having seen any update on his case makes me really suspicious whether the rumors were just baseless...
