It is a tough call to select one among to superstars such as Alex and Cassano. But I doubt if Milan will try to take Cassano on firstly because Cassano will be pretty expensive and secondly because Milan do not need any more strikers. I say this because If Alex becomes a Milanist he will play as a LAM or CAM. Our Midfield is our weakest department so we need more options there. Plus if any one says that Alex is no more a great player to me he is still a champion if he plays as a Midfielder rather than Forward cause the only thing he has lost is his finishing ability or the ability to score goals and that you do not need very much as a midfield player. Apart from that Alex is blessed with every great ability in the world. He will play the same role for us in midfield that Gerrard, Ballack, and Ronaldinho play for their respective clubs. And without any doubt he is the most creative player in the world at the moment.
Alex or Cassano I would welcome anyone of them but I doubt if Milan will go for Cassano.

Our midfield is not our weakest department it is perhaps our strongest.

Our defence is our weakest point alongside our mental approach to certain situations.

lo
im from hungary, im kinda new here, or at least i haven't posted, but followed the threads
why do u think midfield is our weekest department? i think its the best, with that aging defence..
btw with pippo injured we definetaly need a 3rd striker..even if he can resume training, he can get injured anytime...moreover i higly doubt that he will ever be as good as he used to be...
anyway i dont really see either alex or cassano coming, their main problem is theye are not getting enough playtime with their own clubs, wtf are they thinking? they wont play more as 4th striker here, im pretty sure
maybe starters on coppa games

you say hes the most creative player in the world at the moment?

have you forgotten the other 38,000 fifa members that erm..also play football?

you think parreira goes into half time team talks telling ronnie "you must play more like del piero...why can`t you be more like del piero?!" (parreira starts to sob uncontrollably)

somehow i think not.

what is transfer fine btw?

i want milan to buy cassano, he is younger then del and has more skills.

del is now chilling, just making money, and doesn't want to finish his carreer on the bench. i think. but yea he could go to milan. because he will prob earn more money in milan tbh.

just same thing like vieri

He is definitely a great player and a consistent performer at the highest level for more than 10 years now apart from the spell that followed his knee injury . The only way he could fit into our side is to be used as a left winger like he was deployed at Juve many times last term if Ancelotti reshaped our midfield into a standard midfield of two central midfielders and two wide men . As a clear striker or a supporting striker , I am not seeing him any better than our options in Kaka the indispensable or first choice strikers Sheva and Gila or their expected backup Vieri .

I rather have the retired baggio back in Milan than having Del boy.
he wish to leave juve because he spent most of the time on the bench last season.and the situation seems not to change this season.

Well, I'd like to think about it this way: So Cassano is kind of a destructive force and has problems with his behaviour, but I think at Milan he would re-discover his amazing talent and use it wisely. Why? Because at Milan there's no way he can behave like a primadonna and do whatever he wants to, at Milan he would be one of 20 star players whereas at Roma he is one of 2 real stars... He'll have to adjust and that can be a good thing both to himself and Milan in the long run. One player can't disrupt the Milan cause, but a club like Milan can change players for the better!

Del Piero to Milan?
I can't beleive this. Cassano is younger and that's what we need, not some old lazy guy.

Yeah, we have already signed one lazy old guy this summer, and his last name begins with a V

most creative player in the world at the moment? this is 2005, not 1995

however, as a benchwarmer / 5th striker, he would be ideal but he doesn't want that.

i'd take Pinturicchio anytime over cassano. the boy has a serious attitude problem and is a walking disaster on 2 legs for every club that buys him. of course he is a great player but he is never worth all the troubles that would come with him. on the other hand we have a proven quality player who only waits to start his second spring with a club that puts a little faith in him again.

Alessandro Del Piero to Milan?

Sure, so long as it goes something like this:

Alex please meet what will be your closest friend for most of the season:
the bench.
