Squad to face Fener (from acmilan.com):

GOALKEEPERS: Dida, Kalac.

DEFENDERS: Cafu, Costacurta, Kaladze, Maldini, Nesta, Simic.

MIDFIELDERS: Ambrosini, Gattuso, Kakà, Pirlo, Rui Costa, Seedorf, Serginho, Vogel.

STRIKERS: Gilardino, Shevchenko, Vieri

I guess Stam's thigh injury is more serious than we thought. He didn't look injured when Ancelotti took him off against Siena, just p.o.'d.

I just hope this means Maldini's knee problem is better, because he seemed to be favoring it slightly in the last game.

I am rushing to a Tromso forum to support them against Galatasaray...

Kidding, but it's true, let me tell you what they say in Turkey, Fenerbahçe always makes half of Turkey happy, Fenerbahçe fans, or the others...

i am almost in tears at the thought of seeing milan again the CL. it's gonna be a huge exorcism of a game. we should see ghosts rise out from the field and into the ashes of soccer hell as we condemn the demons of Ataturk stadium to the deepest pits of satan's cave!

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christian Vieri is looking to impress the fans when he finally makes his Milan debut against Fenerbahce on Tuesday night.

The Italian has been welcomed with open arms by the Rossoneri faithful following his switch from city rivals Inter, but suspension has delayed his use.

However, boss Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that the striker will feature in the Champions League and Vieri can’t wait.

"I just couldn’t watch another game from the sidelines," he told Milan Channel. "I really could have done without that two-match ban but that is the past.

"I can now play and I can’t wait to step out at the San Siro. We want to do well, we want to win and I hope to find the target."

Vieri’s shock Milan switch upset the Nerazzurri tifosi yet he’s received nothing but praise from the Rossoneri support.

"I have been given much applause and that was important for me," he continued. "The fans have been fantastic. I want to pay them back for the affection that they have demonstrated to me."

However, Vieri - who will start in attack alongside Andriy Shevchenko - expects a tough battle at the San Siro.

"Fenerbahce have some very good players and it will be very difficult for us," he underlined. "There are no easy games anymore, as our draw in Week 1 at Ascoli shows.

"We just need to give our maximum at all times, be concrete and play with determination throughout.

"The side played well against Siena on Saturday which illustrated that we have a strong group here. It is important to continue down this path."

Milan (probable): Dida, Cafu, Nesta, Maldini, Kaladze, Pirlo, Gattuso, Ambrosini, Kakà, Shevchenko, Vieri.

Fenerbache (probable): Volkan, Serkan, Turaci, Fabio Luciano, Umit Ozat, M. Aurelio, Appiah, Selcuk, Nobre, Alex, Anelka.

Do you know the stadium that you go every year you go with shivering legs? That's Fenerbahçe stadium. Do you know the team that tames you every year? That's Fenerbahçe. Do you know the team that has caused so much trouble and made you come here? That's Fenerbahçe. You know about Fenerbahçe very well, it is deep inside you, you know it, don't you?

I know fenerbahçe ; they are to shame Turkey. They are play to six games take zero point. They are to be eliminated fifth class teams. They are hummer to own players.
And i know your stadium that place is a terror area; knifes, stones throw to pitch. But we are the ultrAslan. We don't fear anything..

Oops, right on time, as I said, I was gonna sleep but you pushed it hard.

And, Şükrü Saraçoğlu is known as the most "gentle" stadium in turkey as far as I know. But, yes, you are right, that's a place that a lot of things are thrown on the pitch, for example I remember Galatasaray fans destroyig all the toilets and throwing everything on the pitch, including the door. This is not the place to discuss these things though, and I still am wondering what's your point. Now continue writing, I will reply on Thursday I think.
