well instead of putting Gatusso on the bench, why dont we just get a player who will do Gatusso's job, aswel as attack. Essien would have been perfect But Chelsea got him, Do you think Malouda could do something similar.

I think a Pirlo-Gattuso central midfield pairing with two true wingers could really work, just like with Juve how they use Nedved--Emerson--Viera--Camoranesi. However, how do you incorporate Kaka into all of that? Do you push him wide? That's the question, because Kaka has to be playing, undoubtedly. Perhaps from right to left:

Kaka--Gattusso--Pirlo--some true left winger *cough* WILHEMSSON *cough*

Samaldinhio, you either play Kaka up front with one striker or play him on one of the wings. I dont want to see either happen. So unless we get rid of Kaka we cant play with 2 wingers.

excellent player ... a carbon copy of Serginho only 10 years younger. As far as I know he is up for a renewal with Lyon so now could be the right time to get him.

Oh finally someone else mentions him other than me. Isnt he a bit more tough tackling than Serghino though?

What about Beasley?

Anybody else think left winger DaMarcus Beasley of PSV would be a great fit for Milan. I have been a fan ever since he has played for my hometown Fire. He's already proven himself in Europe. Watch for him and Landon Donovan to lead the USA at the World Cup.

Malouda Linked With Inter And United
11/2/2005 2:06:00 PM
Lyon winger Florent Malouda is apparently being chased by both Inter and Manchester United.
Nerazzurri patron Massimo Moratti is said to be a keen admirer of the Frenchman, while United reportedly see the player as a long-term replacement for Ryan Giggs.

Lyon are keen to keep hold of Malouda, with president Jean-Michel Aulas claiming that the club have made him ’an optimal proposal’ over a new contract.

The fresh deal would take him up to 2010.

Well, I hope the Malouda rumors are true and we snap him off the hands of United and Inter Merda

Janku is a good player, but also left wing, like Sergniho. We have nog players we can field as right wing. And Janku is also more an offensive left wing back, type of Cafu i think, not really an offensive winger.

i think that in some games Gattuso is not needed. Games against Empoli, Lecce, Reggina, ... Milan almost always have posession of ball. We need players who can do something creative then. Gattuso is a good worker, is good in recuperation, but brings nothing 'extra' on footballing skills. And that's what's needed against smaller te
teams. So maybe like this then : RIGHT WING Kaka - Pirlo - LEFT WING ?
In games against Juve for example, u can play Gattuso instead of one of the wings then.
Btw, Seedorf is also still important, so it's not necessary to play every game with true wingers, but it's important, that on the moments we need wingers, we have them !

had we used wing play more often, we might have won more matches, for this reason ancelotti has to go because he has hardly used wing play,he only used it when in trouble. this tactic wastes milan's talents! only cafu provides wing play in milan team, this leaves big hole in right defence because no midfield can do it, the defeat by deportivo and liverpool might explain this! serginho can do it but he doesnt play often and he is not a balanced player.
gattuso also caused imbalance in the team, because he cant contribute whatsoever to attacking play and the role of winning the ball is reserved to him, thats mad, this is a team sport, every player must contribute.
therefore if these two serious issues are solved, we will be invincible.
