it would be suicide to do it the arsenal way. we can't play only talented youngsters in the first squad.
we should look at how barcelona is dealing with this issue. they have iniesta (now 21 years old) who is getting enough minutes for 3 years now. he is developing greatly and does not want to leave and barca is taking no harm at all (quite the opposite). we should do the same. pick the most promising players we have and give them enough minutes to keep them happy. if they play some games as substitutes it won't harm us and we wouldn't waste the potential we have in the youth ranks (which seems to be quite a lot (marzoratti, legati, bloudek, ardemagni, di gennaro, piazza). unfortunately we are not doing this at the moment and so i could understand very well if piazza decides to leave.
