Lyon VS Milan

Milan totally dominated a team that plays typical English football for the whole 180 minutes and won both matches, home and away last year, against Man United. I am also sure that Juve have the capability to beat this Arsenal side because this side might not even qualify to champs league next year, in the English premiership! Juve dominated for most periods against Liverpool as well last year, and Milan dominated the final for 123 minutes. The remaining 7 minutes were Liverpool's were they did everything.

If anything, italian teams are favoured in English league style vs Italian league style, IF justice is served.. anyway, lets stop talking about Juve cuz we shouldnt care about them..we must concentrate on Lyon..and after Lyon (if we beat them), we have an extremely tough game against Barca.. I pray that Benfica beat Barca..I'll also wish Ronaldinho to miss the 2nd leg at Nou Camp, if he's not there, im 100% positive we're fine.

It will be extremely HARD for Bentica to ge thru Barcelona.

Frankly I am confident that if we keep up our current form (disregard Juventus) we should defeat Lyon and then Barca. Both have shown recently that they are not unbeatable in their domestic leagues, as was feared earlier in the season. I am slightly afraid of Lyon, but as someone said (sorry, can't remember who) Lyon should be the team that fears up, not the opposite. After all we are MILAN. So quit with all the negativity about how Lyon is so amazing and unbeatable, I expect nothing more than a victory.

I think a typically English team would be difficult for Juve, as you've said their record against Utd in recent years has been poor, and they went out to Liverpool last year.
However Arsenal arent a typical English team, in fact Juve have become one they have the typical 4-4-2, with a physical central midfield (Emerson, Vieira) , flying wingers (Camoranesi, Zambrotta), the big striker/tricky striker combo, they value efficient victory over flair. I said at the start of the season they are like a 70's Liverpool side and i stand by that description.

If you look at Arsenal's losses domestically it shows that they are good when given time to play (like Real did) but very bad when they are forced to compete in midfield. Juve will force them to compete, and their only chance of winning is if Gilberto puts in 2 massive performances to dominate Vieira and Emerson, giving a platform for Fabregas, Hleb, Ljungberg, Pires and co to create....

Yeah, maybe..but Arsenal still has Thierry Henry...he is very good I must admit...I ll support Arsenal in this game

I dislike both teams equally but unfortunately there is no way they can both lose So i'll have to sit back and enjoy the action as a neutral....

It is also a way...but I dislike Juve more than Arsenal...so i ll support Arsenal. And juve this season will get scudetto, so I dont want them to be CL winners as well...Its cruel..

I just read that Juninho Pernambuco said Lyon will beat Milan by "stopping" Kaka from his role as playmaker. He said that Kaka representing 80% of Milan...What a BIG BULL****!!!!
Juninho doesn't really know how Milan play their game and just saying crappy statement....He doesn't even know who is Milan's playmaker....

If a team has to be kicked out from the quarter final then it must be Lyon and not Milan !!!!
We have the spirit and history as Champions but not Lyon !!! They may have been the champions in their local lague but NOT in Champions League like we have done for 6 times and the 7th will be coming...

I really dont care who will be in the final with Milan in the summer. Becouse we CANT loose another final,no way. Barca scares me most, and the fact we are playing 2nd leg away. But, we can do it somehow. Lyon cant do much against well organized defence without Juninho in their game. YOu'll see it when they face Milan. We only need a draw in Lyon and then...we'll you all know what is the feeling in the SAn Siro for the away teams in the CL.

Juninho's statement shows how much he rates Kaka, there's nothing else to understand.

Now as you said : "If a team has to be kicked out from the quarter final then it must be Lyon". You're certainly right mate, specially if you plan a trip to the Camp Nou in the forthcoming weeks. However if I were you I wouldn't put too much money on Milan to go through.

Dont worry. In 99% of such cases when players of an opposite team say such things towards another team, they lose. The reason is - underestimation of an opponent. Let them think that if they stop Kaka Milan will not be able to play. And they simply will lose...Actually a lot of people think that if Kaka doesnt play Milan cannot show good performance. Stupid opinion, dont actually understand where it comes from....
