AC Milan vs Lyon (QF 2nd leg)

I was really hoping Cafu would be back a little more in advance of this game, who knows if he is ready or not. I dont think its worth the risk, for me Stam has to start.

Dear Milanisti...

IMHO we will win the game against Lyon at San Siro due to this facts :

1. At Lyon 3 times Sheva's shots were denied by the super goalie of Lyon at that time, Coupet. Question is : Can Coupet repeat his top performance to deny either Kaka, Sheva or Pippo shots at San Siro?? No Way man...

2. From all Lyon's player when we played at Lyon Tiago is their BEST player...he will not even be at the bench due to suspension for one game.....Can Juninho play his solitaire game without Tiago who scored against Troyes last night??

3. Remember that 70,000 Milanisti will make the San Siro stadium like A REAL RED HELL for the Lazy Lions...BURN THE LIONS WITH AT LEAST 4 RED DEVILS' GOALS !!!!!!

BOTTOM LINE..... Milan will go through the Semi Finals and my feeling said that we will play Benfica at the Smis and not Barca instead.....

Inter will go through as well and Juve will be kicked out by the Gunners at the Delle Alpi on Thursday.

So...2 Milan team wil go through against Benfica and Arsenal...and play the Derby Della Madonina part 2 in Paris to lift the CL Trophy.

ROCK BOTTOM LINE : Milan will Thrash Inter at the Final

Dont underestimate Villarreal, they play on their field, and if Riquelme is on his day, and Forlan does what he has to do, i think Inter is going to have a bad time!

I think that the most important news is that Stam is back...
He wasn't absent for a long time as Cafu or Maldini, so he supposed to be in good shape. Costacurta sucks, so lets hope Stam is fine. Everyone talked about reinvented Kaladze, well let me just say that in last games that Stam played he was great, make people to forget about Cafu.

But is Stam ok?? IS he fit??

It looks great to see Stam, Cafu and Maldini all back for a European game.

Maldini played full 90 minutes, I dont think he'll start. Pirlo for some STRANGE reason started against Lecce and played 60 minutes. Kaka, Sheva, Gattuso was rested and Seedorf, Pippo came in as subs so they'll surely play IMO.

Costacurta was rested, but really, he should not start as we have both Stam and Cafu available. I think we should start with Stam because I dont think Cafu can do the job given that he's recently been back to injury. The central defence will continue with Kaladze and Nesta, and I think Carlo will bring in Maldini and play with 5 defenders to defend a one goal lead sometime near the end. Serginho also must start at the left as there is no one that can do the job better than him right now.

Up front I hope to see Sheva and Pippo. If Pippo is having a bad game (which is 5% of the time), we should put in Rui Costa, Vogel, Marek, anyone but NOT Gilardino. I dont think he has what it takes to change a game or take part in a European game just yet. If the game is 3-0, then Gila can come in and get a goal to boost his confidence.

Forza Milan, and I know we can beat this Lyon team, I just hope we make it through. This game is very dangerous, more than potential semi and final.

I wish the Milan fans dont stop singing. People who live around Milan are so lucky really, if i was there i would be sittin in the front row shouting my ass off and cheering them till the last minute.. I hope the rest of the fans at the San Siro will feel the same way I feel..

I dsiasgree with the "NOT" gilardino. What's a better time for him to prevail than in a quarter final? Yes, you are right in the sense that he may not be ready for the big stage yet, but he'll never be ready if he is not given the chance, GIVEN THAT he HAS the potential to play well.

Gila has to start, small expo from history: in 1982 world cup, paolo rossi as well as the whole italian team started poorly , but in the last four games on this tournament rossi scored 6 goals!
I do not compare rossi to gilardino but lets give a kid a chance, and besides In attack we need esxperienced player to enter the game f smth goes wrong, so if sheva and pippo will play both whom you gonna bring in to make changes in attack line?, now for this purpose Gila is not good, so let him start and run around starving for goal and if we have problems we will get experienced bomber like pippo in !

I don't think talpa.tv is showing any CL games, only Serie A and Dutch Eredevisie, I think.
P2P progs like PPLive and PPStream are your best shot I guess. Quality as of late on PPLive has been quite bad but Shanghai is usually the best of the bunch.
